Biden clarifies he has not taken cognitive test

The people have no control over which people choose to run for president. Out of a somewhat distasteful field we get to "choose". I didn't think Trump was the best 2016 primary candidate and I don't think that Biden represents the finest of those who chose to run for the blue team this year. Alas, most of us get outvoted in the primaries unless there is a very clear standout (which I haven't seen in a long time).

I don't think the contest for president attracts the sort of admirable personality, knowledge or experience most of us would like to see since journalists stopped reporting objective facts and became political opinion arms of the parties. If media is going to rip the winner to shreds and "got 'cha" the president every day, then how many decent and honorable people have the motivation or incentive to run?

The attempted Burisma smear got Trump impeached, and so impugning Biden's mental acuity appears to be the current contrivance to distract from Trump's consummate failures. Looks like a slight variation on their old "Hillary has brain damage!" ploy.

Americans prefer Biden in most categories by a wide margin (http://pollingreport.com/2020wh.htm) and so the Trumpy dung flinging at him must be intense, relentless, and monumentally distractive.

 

Well, I would counter that the people are the ones consuming the garbage. Nobody ever admits to reading the tabloids, yet they sell larger than almost every other publication. There's a reason for that. People pretend to be holier than though, but, they want to read about the scandals more than the issues that require thinking.

If, we the people, didn't want to focus on scandals, that's what the media would cover. Good, solid, qualified people would run, if they knew that their one lapse of judgement 30 years ago wasn't going to be today's tasty tidbit.

We make it hard for qualified candidates to run. The media only provides what will be consumed.

Trumpies are becoming hysterical over their deity's relentless dismal numbers, and their dung-flinging concerning corruption, moral depravity, etc., was so blatantly hypocritical, it only elicited laughter, so they have settled on the ruse that Biden has had a Vulcan mind meld with Louie Gohmert at some point.

Of course, the abundance of clips with Trump sounding like an idiot makes this desperate ploy futile as well, but desperation is desperation.

Trump and his goons have launched an all out attack on Biden, impugning his mental fitness in a coordinated effort, using smears and innuendo. After the Burisma scam blew up in Trump's face and alternative smears failed to stick (and fell too close to home), amidst Trump's current multiple failures and dismal poll numbers, they needed something vicious and distraction.

As Biden appropriately put it, "I am very willing to let the American public judge my physical as well as my mental fitness and to, you know, to make a judgment about who I am."

An old Dr Karl Rove diagnosis of presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton may have provided the inspiration. She had been hospitalized for four days and administered blood thinners for a blood clot:

“Thirty days in the hospital? And when she reappears,
she’s wearing glasses that are only for people who have
traumatic brain injury"

The lies will keep on coming, no doubt.​

 

What I find scarier is these kind of games actually sway public opinion. It's sick and twisted.

Is it a prerequisite for being a candidate? Did Trump take the test when he was the nominee?

 

Degenerates would not attempt these depraved schemes if they did not know they could exploit a vulnerable segment of the public susceptible to such perversions of the truth.

Biden likely genuinely cant remember if he took a cognitive test.

Being hostile/agressive and agitated when asked simple questions is one of the first signs something is not right.

 

Yeah. I wish we had a candidate that didn't get agitated when asked a question that required a yes/no answer. So sad. I wish we could do better.

I believe the facts and Biden has to run on his own. This thread is about his lying about taking the cognitive test. The Democrats and left wanted and plotted an invocation of the 25th Amendment claim President Trump was mentally challenged, with Jno evidence, to hold the office. He took the test and passed it.

We see in constantly with Biden and even some in the even the MSM now question and he attacks and bubbles it even more.
For example

Trump bragged about passing a cognitive abilities test, saying that the doctors who administered the test were "very surprised!"

The blowhard's embarrassing, uncorroborated boast of his mastery of distinguishing picture of lions from those of rhinoceroses is entirely consistent with the insecurity evident in his fake pretense of expertise in epidemiology (despite his repeated insistence that the coronavirus was "under control," that it would just "go away!", that there were "very few people!" with it, and that "They're all getting better! - Everybody's getting better!" ) that no doctor ever backed him up on then, either.

Well I'm not a "hardcore Trumpet" and don't believe he's a "stable genius" or all his bravado.

But this isn't about bravdo this is about mental abilities. The left was demanding he be removed by the 25th over his mental abilities. There were even plots at the highest level, the Rosenstein wire, to try and gather evidence. He took the cognitive test and passed and put it to rest.

Biden, whose abilities and brought more and more into question, see the statements I just posted, lied when he was questioned claiming he had already taken one and then attacked and tried to shutdown the CBS reporter with his inane response and uninformed rant when he asked him about it.

Come on Joe take the test.
