Nixon was one of you guys. The EPA? Clean Air Act? Clean Water Act? Like Hitler and American Progressives, Nixon was an environmentalist. Nixon was unlike Progressives and Hitler in that Nixon was not into eugenics. Progressives like Woodrow Wilson were more in tune with Margaret Sanger, Hitler and eugenics. Wilson even brought back the KKK. Robert Byrd recruited for Wilson's 2nd rendition of the Klan.

Be more careful with your associations.

Even Cruz said it was only a couple thousand jobs.

This isn’t a surprise. Biden ran on this. If voters didn’t like it, they would’ve voted appropriately.

I actually like the hard to like Richard, Ford too, I'd break their kneecaps but give them good painkillers. Dick had a soul and did some good.
FOX NEWS was designed specifically to ensure America didn't get it wrong like it did with Nixon ever again. no matter what.
yes, in the world of *******s and racists there have been some Dems, where are they burning crosses today like The Mob does?
be more careful with your facts and votes.

Thanks for the well thought out reasons and opposition based on facts and logic. Something that has been absent on this forum for awhile.

Speaking of nationalistic goals, did you know that if we converted cars to run on natural gas
"When combined with additional 2021 contracts to be announced later, the total number of American union workers constructing Keystone XL in 2021 will exceed 8,000 and $900 million in gross wages," the release said. "In total, Keystone XL is expected to employ more than 11,000 Americans in 2021, creating more than $1.6 billion in gross wages."

That’s close to what the State Department found in its 2014 report.

In the report, the agency wrote that 10,400 estimated positions would be for seasonal construction work lasting four to eight-month periods. Since the State Department defines "job" as "one position that is filled for 1 year," that would equate to approximately 3,900 jobs over a two-year period.

if we reverted prior to a century ago when King hemp / alcohol fuel was purposely outlawed we could solve myriad problems fast.

...When Buttigieg said the idea was that “net” jobs created in more climate-friendly industries would be positive, Cruz retorted that that was little comfort to the Keystone XL workers who were being laid off: “So for those workers, the answer is somebody else will get a job?”...

Green Jobs for the WIN!!! :roflol:

    What's wrong with temporary jobs?

Nearly 95% of all new jobs during Obama era were part-time, or contract

. Good grief. Maybe if you read the source article it would help.
The original statement made was that everyone was being tested 10 times....kind of dumb statement. That’s 10 times 300 million. 19 per 1000 being tested means 98.1 % are not...obviously. Do you really claim to have read the source ?

    Good point, dagosa.

I must admit that I admire your efforts to engage people who (apparently) are so egregiously misinformed.

Obviously, the OP, which is (essentially) a speculative opinion article (written by a Brietbart Flunkie) misses several of the larger issues.

What a ridiculous argument. All construction work is prone to pollution, even making solar panels dah.....but after they are produced, the pollution is zero. Oil source pollutes continuously..

I hear you. It isn’t like it’s that difficult to make a valid argument. The info is out there. But, polluters have no valid sources. .

Oh, now you’re arguing that it employees too many ? Did you ever stop to think that a new business needing a NEW infrastructure employs more people then one already in existence ?
Seriously, now you’re arguing for FEWER JOBS ? Amazing.
What do you have against CLEANER ENERGY that is cheaper and available every where except in Saudi oil fields ?
Maybe you don’t know how solar panels work. We don’t need some one to man a flash light .....;)

Yeah, but the working life of a solar panel is only ten years, and then they need to be replaced, and there goes more construction effort, and more manufacturing pollution into the mix.

The pollution for operating solar is NOT zero, because solar power output fluctuates wildly, and that necessitates a buttload of electrical switching equipment to balance out its contribution to the grid.

That's another dirty little hidden secret of solar, the switching equipment that goes along with it is an environmental nightmare in its own right.

Solar energy isn't cheaper, because it requires a ton of manpower to provide a tiny amount of energy. Inefficient things are never cheaper.

This is just economics 101, and it's amazing that you're just not grasping even the simplest of concepts here.

That's why solar requires subsidies to even exist. It's not efficient or cost effective to exist without taxpayer money propping it up.

How could 98.1 percent have not been tested when there are 25 million cases. Double down on stupid why dont you.

The source is a world map with no text. Answer my question. You cant because the 19 in 1000 is utter bullshit and you wont acknowledge it. How are there 25 million cases?????

That’s the second most uninformed statements you’ve made. Every other was tied for first.
