Biden Makes Address After Counsel Report, Defends Memory But Confuses Presidents

President Joe Biden declared that he was cleared of all criminal charges related to his mishandling of highly sensitive documents that were stashed away at his residence and office after a Justice Department report highlighted his old age and faulty memory regarding important events and facts.

“Biden will likely present himself to the jury, as he did during his interview with our office, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” Special Counsel Robert Hur wrote. “Based on our direct interactions with and observations of him, he is someone for whom many jurors will want to identify reasonable doubt. It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him—by then a former president well into his 80s—of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.”…


…However, the U.S. Democrat president also made a notable error in his remarks, mistaking the presidents of Mexico and Egypt in response to a question on the Israel-Gaza conflict. Biden called Israel’s retaliatory response in Gaza “over the top” and then mistakenly referred to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi as the President of Mexico.

“Initially, the president of Mexico, Sisi, did not want to open up the gate to allow humanitarian material to get in. I talked to him. I convinced him to open the gate.” He did not even correct himself afterwards.

Biden also threw his own staff under the bus and fully blamed them for the document investigation.

“I take responsibility for not having seen exactly what my staff was doing,” Biden said. “Things that appeared in my garage, things that came out of my home, things that were moved, were moved not by me, but my staff, but my staff,” he continued.”…

The OAN Newsroom and their news reporter News report was very informative. The special council did Biden no favors. Biden then proven the report partially correct in his news conference.

 

The report was right about his being forgetful but wrong about being some innocent kindly old man that might generate public sympathy toward himself.

 

I think that, like most Americans, BOTH of your leading candidates are showing the effects of ageing. The real choice is going to come down to integrity, honesty, patriotism, etc…

 

For many, it just comes down to label, sadly. And then for many others, one or two issues. For others still, which candidate is less reprehensible for whatever reason.

Small wonder that voter turnout in this country is dismal. Politics is something many prefer to ignore because it is such a fetid, reeking swamp with a bunch of loud, angry apes flinging poo at each other.

 

I wonder how Biden would do if he sat down with Tucker for a 2 hour interview.

 

Of which Biden has none of the above.

 

It would be sheer torture for us to endure such a thing.

 

Absolutely. Can you imagine how much angst would just become fish wrapping if neither Humpty* nor Biden were POTUS candidates?

Only one person has bragged about his sexual assault of women.
Only one person has been found liable for that assault and had to pay a small fortune to his victim.
Only one person has vowed to “terminate” the Constitution.
Only one person has threatened to seek “retribution” from his political rivals.
Only one person claims that Presidents can commit crimes and not be held accountable.
Only one person kisses the arses of the world’s dictators.

Who was the last president to sit down for a two hour interview with a highly partisan tabloid journalist from the other party?

I wonder what excuses will be made when don refuses to debate Joe just like he is doing with his own party.

 

In the general election it will be basement Joe who refuses to debate because he couldn’t survive one without soiling his depends and running his mouth like the angry fool that he is.

 

There is no real choice. It is ignorant of Americans to put either of these individuals forth as their candidate.
