And there went any credibility you may have thought you had. There is no evidence to support any of that nonsense.
You mean, when the police shoot someone who is threatening them or trying to harm someone? Cuz that isn't murder.
I'm sure we can all agree on cops killing dangrous violent white criminal resisting arrest isn't a problem. I think she means when a white cop kills a dangrous violent black criminal resisting arrest.
So... become a cop. Be the change. When was the last time you went to a city council meeting to review how your local PD trains its officers? Bitching is more fun, sure, but it isn't accomplishing much. Defunding the police is just gonna make folks take the law into their own hands (with guns, btw). Im OK with that, honestly. But are you?
Take a look at statistics you can see blacks are killing other blacks at an alarming rate. Start taking away police or their funds and there will be a significant increase in violent crime. Blacks will suffer greatly at the hands of the refund the police mob. What people should be pushing for is mandatory body camera's for ever single officer on the street, better training and strict/regular evaluations of all police officers (all if which will cost more money).
i think that’s exactly what she means. I have a feeling she’d be happier if only white cops kill dangerous and violent white criminals, and black cops kill dangerous and violent black criminals. Like some keystone cop checkers board.
Statistics and rationalizations can be thrown around but there is something that some white people don't seem to understand. The entire African American community has had enough and they want change. It is a large segment of the population who have lost faith in and mistrust a branch of government sworn to protect the public and uphold the law. We have people on here that belittle and minimize that. I would say that is disrespectful.
Well there is one thing the african american community don't seem to understand. The media is guilty of hyping this false outrage onto your community.
As I wrote....people on here belittling and minimizing an opinion of a large sector of the population is disrespectful.
1)Laquan McDonald was shot multiple times while walking away from the police. He died. Murder. 2) Walter Scott was shot six times in the back while running away from the police. He died. Murder. 3) Eric Garner died while one policeman had him in a chokehold and two other policemen sat on top of him. He kept saying "I can't breathe". Murder. 4) George Floyd died while a policeman put his knee on his throat. He was calling for his Mother as he died. Murder. 5) Philando Castille told a policeman he had a gun in his glove box, that he was licensed to carry, and the policeman shot him several times anyway. He died. Murder. I could go on, but I'm sure you get the picture.
Is this your call for riots because criminals died while resisting legitimate attempts at arrest? George Floyd excepted.
NONE of these men were resisting arrest. Practice social distancing. Wear a mask while in public. Wash your hands frequently. Take care and stay safe. Bye.
I excepted George Floyd because I believe he was murdered. But to say he didn't resist arrest? You got something crossed.
After watching radical leftists roast city after city for month after month in the name of BLM justice WHILE Dem Party mayors and governors stand down police forces to make it possible, it's quite likely that the average citizen no longer gives a flying flipping fork WHY radicals are doing what they are doing especially since police officers kill more Whites -- by far -- each year than Blacks.
The Black community dosen't want change. If the Black community cared that much about black lives it should be addressing the high crime rate and daily black on black on murders in the black community. How about trying to stop the glorification of criminals and work on cleaning house? Rioting, looting and burning down their own community for a criminal is not going to get anyone anywhere. It is what it is, the black community is rife with crime and violence. The solution isn't destroying police relations because this community needs the exact opposite! They need to respect and work with authorities, relations need to be strengthened to fight the cancer that's eating the community from the inside. Demonising the police and strengthening peoples belief that the police are the enemy is a great way to keep blacks down and keep criminals in business. Frankly I find this whole attitude moronic and I just don't get why people can't see how harmful it is to blacks.
Don't get out of your bubble. I wouldn't say the "average citizen". I would say a certain segment of whites don't care and never cared. Thanks for that, but you changed the subject.
Yes, you can go on and on because the media makes sure to make a big deal out of it. There are just as many white names but they are literally ignored by the media. So go ahead and name off all the names you want. It has already been proven on this thread that more whites are killed by cops every year. Your post is just an attempt at an emotional appeal and Americans who believe in personal responsibility are beginning to recognize this tactic.
Let's not go making the small sample fallacy a thing yet. 1. mcdonal had a knife and was a danger to others, but the jury said guilty so we can go 50/50 on that. 2. eric garner, like anyone who understands choking, can't say "I can't breathe" unless you can breathe. no charges were filed, you lose. 3. the jury found the officr who shot scott's actions criminal but not murder. you lose. 4. floyd was yelling about not breathing for over ten minutes before the police laif a finger on him and that idiot died from a meth/fent overdose, and nothing was lost that day. but you lose again. 5. castille was driving around high and smoking weed with a CHILD in the car. his dumb ass tells the cops he has a gun and won't stop reaching for it like a irrational clot, and got shot. nothing was lost. you lose. as we can see only one of your examples is even CLOSE to what you're suggesting about murder and that's a fact. SO, one out of thousands of shootings each year, I would call that a pretty good ratio.
