Charges were ultimately dropped. It's hard to think having 'bulging eyes' whatever that means was the only reason he was arrested. Who's right and wrong here:

I think he has a great case as I saw the bodycam videos on TV at least one of the cops who attacked the guy was a black cop.

I also think he has a case, but not the kind that would be considered a lottery winner. He was banged up, he'll heal, and ten or twenty thousand bucks should be enough.

BTW, what is the point of putting "black man" in the article's title?

What happened was due to gun control laws.

In that area, apparently, there are a lot of (Black) gang members illegally carrying handguns.
The police officers in this case judged that because this individual had an emotional look on his face, that there was a high probability he was one of these individuals.

Of course they were mistaken. It was an illegal search. But because this man "resisted", the police arrested him.

The guy did not really resist, to begin with he is skinny as a toothpick, they were very aggressive with him.

It all depends upon the situation, Here's a White Guy with Bulging Eyes and if I was a Police Officer and ran into him, Yes! I'd apprehend him for looking so weird and suspicious, NO RACISM involved.

To piss off the regressives and get them angry at police before they have even read the article.

Completely justified by the officers, they just wanted to talk to him and he freaked out for no reason.

I disagree. The guy was basically ambushed by the cops so their he had a surprised look on his face argument is just BS. They came up on him and surprised the **** out of him and then immediately pounced on him as a result of his reaction to being surprised by them. TBH, it was really the one officer more so than the other--the one who immediately grabbed him by the throat. The other one seemed to be more in a "just calm down" posture. That he wasn't even cuffed on the way to or sitting in the car shows that they didn't really see him as a threat.

Nope. According to the article, the arrest doesn't come with a probably cause why they harassed the guy in the first place.
That's why they dismissed the case. And so we're left with is a lawsuit against the cops breaking the 4th amendement.
    Not so hard to understand.

Just "maybe" it's typical that black people are victimized by the cops, again and again.
The American Psychological Association has numerous pieces how racism is present in the justice department.
Shoe seems to fit here.... let's not go kid ourselves.

They were uniformed officers and they just wanted to speak to him, why did he freak out?

Yes, lets not kid ourselves, the police aren't racist, the problem is with black society which needs a sea change.

You mean 'probable cause'. They didn't harass this guy, they just wanted to speak to him.

If I were walking down the street and somebody suddenly popped up out of nowhere coming at me then I would freak out too. And no, they didn't just want to talk to him. They were profiling him.

Because there is an accusation that the police were motivated by his skin colour? Because you'd treat the story differently if it had been about a white suspect? Because some people moan when the race of suspects isn't reported? Because it was written in the US where there are still massive socio-political race issues?

Sounds a lot more that this is just out of pure convenience to save white right conservative feels and based on fake 2020 like "alternative reality".
While the facts from APA say otherwise.

They wanted to arrest him, otherwise there couldn't be a "resisting of an arrest".... while they had no cause to arrest him in the first place.

You're the only one kidding yourself about who is responsible for the crimes they commit. I guess the black officer was...also racist?

In this case... a black man did not commit any crime. The cops still harassed him to than lock him up for DAYS for resisting arrest... while they did not have anything to be held against him to arrest him for. Typical how police behaves against black people. You don't nee to believe my own opinion... since it's according to the American Psycho Association. Facts, Buri, Facts. Just like white people commit more drug related crimes, yet black people get arrested 300% more often over it. Just like white people have more infractions with the law when pulled over, yet the cops apply the driving while black policy. That's how cops end up arresting black people more, systematically. You know what group has the most violent assaults against their own families? It's the cops themselves. It's around 40% and they get away with it too on a massive scale. Typical....

AH, still blaming the police for catching the bad guys. You are my favorite thing. Being trendy is the only thing you seem to have going for you.

I'm blaming the police of racist practices / institutionalized racism, that is just there according to the American Psycho Association.
Something that's still a rather taboo for a lot of Americans ever since their side lost the war. Does the shoe fit here, Buri?

But they were POLICE OFFICERS! How were they profiling him exactly?
