I have a real problem with a piece of electronics that hasn't budged in
price in 15 years.in fact it is unrivaled. That Bose can still ask $500 for
their Bose Wave Radio, now going on 15 years. They did drop the price to
    $ 499.90 a couple years ago.
Who are the trying to kid. This is absurd.Name for me another piece of
electronics that is mass produced and it's price hasn't budged.
    This is surreal.A time warp.
Bose did make the fantastic Bose 901 speakers, but that was like 3 decade
ago.Their speakers have never developed beyond that stage. In fact Bose
stereo speakers are Crap.Ask any audiophile.
What gives with Bose.Do they honestly believe the mass public is that
jaded, out of touch with electronics today.
I mean,we're not talkin' some hand crafted Martin guitar here.
Or a McIntosh AMP hand-assembled in One Northeast Factory.

The Bose Wave Radio is just a way overpriced Clock Radio.
    Yes,it has nice sound.Most radio's today have nice sound.But there's
nothing that even remotely justifies the price. It's a gimmick.
My Proof.Tell me where an electronics product hasn't changed it's price in
over 10 years.Ex. Plasma TV's. DVD's. Most Speakers. ALL Computer monitors.

    Been watching QVC again?

    :giggle:

jk, jk ...I agree, it's ridiculous. I know someone who owns one, and it sounds good for a tiny little radio. But NOT $500 nice!

QVC is a nice place to shop but that doesn't mean they aren't shilling.
Don't forget the V in QVC is supposed to mean VALUE.
I have a real problem with a Nice shopping place that still pushed Birkenstock
sandals.- Faded Glory - used to have the exact identical sandal for sale at
first K-Mart then Wal*mart since the late 90's.I remeber when K-mart first offered
    them at $15.Then Wal*Mart started selling.The last pair I bought at Wal*mart
    was $6.99.That was 2 years ago.Wal8Mart hasn't carried since.
Don't forget Birkenstocks sell for around $100.The last few years Birkenstocks have changed
their tops slightly.Jazzing up the top leather part enough to seem different.
