Looking at an advertisement on the computer yesterday, I went down and bought a second Windows phone. I bought a Nokia 520 last year. My first smart phone and was so impressed at what it could do for $59.00, I jumped at buying another Nokia 635 for $49.00. This one even faster with 4G light. The only disadvantage I see with these phones over the high priced other phones, is mostly they don't have a back facing camera, flash and Windows hasn't got as many aps as the others. But they have all the ones I need. I can't see paying 10-12 times as much for those features when I don't need them. I could care less with keeping up with the Jones'. I don't even take out insurance on these phones. I could buy another in 5 months of what the monthly insurance would cost on a high priced phone. Or almost buy two for what the deductible would cost if I had to use the insurance.

My two sisters also bought Nokia Windows phones. My Brother and his wife bought Apple phones and are mad they did. He has filled up his 16gb of memory with mostly pictures and now has to delete many of them to down load anything else. It seems Apple won't take micro SD cards like my Nokia $59.00 520 will and he has no way to get extra storage on his phone without paying to put it on a cloud. I have a 64 GB memory card in mine and can also replace my own battery which he says he has to take in to do. From what I understand, the big difference in price of those expensive phones is how much memory they have. My 64 GB memory card cost me $19.99, plus $3.50 shipping. Not hundreds more for built in memory. Doesn't seem worth it to me.

My Sisters and I have no contract provider Consumer Cellular. The plan we took gives us 750 talk minutes, 1500 texts and 150 MB of Data a month and cost $28.99 a month. We can change it with just a call. My Brother and his wife have Verizon and with his insurance, is paying out around $70.00 a month for unlimited. But he is using only a little more than we are and so far, I haven't come close to using up what I have because a lot of times I use Wi-Fi.

I paid more for my GPS than I did for this phone and the phone has a GPS on it that I can get free updates and doesn't use up any minutes.

Just received my 64 GB Micro SC card for my new Nokia 635 phone. Stuck it in and it works great. Can't believe they can sell this memory card so cheap. Loving this phone more every day.

I upgraded my Windows phone again to Windows 640. This has everything I was missing on my 635. I have front and rear camera. Has a 5" screen, Gorilla glass. Runs on 4G light. I only paid $79.00 for it. It is unbelievable they can sell this phone so cheap. Got a two year warranty for only $12.00 Consumers Report has even given it a real good rating and has rated it above some smart phones selling for hundreds of dollars more. I don't know why anyone would go out and pay hundreds of dollars more and get a phone you can't do what this one will. I can put more memory in it and change the battery, both which is dirt cheap. It works so well with my Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 computers. Everything meshes together. Bought it at Walmart as a Go phone and hooked it up with Consumer Cellular with no contract. It runs on the ATT network.

Picked up the Lumia 640 earlier this week and what a great phone. I have a Lumia 521, 635 and now have the 640. The 640 is a big upgrade from the two older Lumias. Don't get me wrong the 521 and 635 are excellent phones, but the 640 is a big upgrade and honestly is probably the best bargain on the market now.

It has a fast, quad core processor, 1GB of internal RAM which is double what the 635 had. Unlike an iPhone you can put in up to 128GB or additional memory. The 640 also brings back some features that were left off the 635 like the light and proximity sensors. It has the glance option was usually found on the more expensive Lumia's of old. So far the battery like has been remarkable as well. The 640 has a 8 megapixel camera (635 had a 6 MP) in back with a flash, and a 1 megapixel in front. The screen resolution is really good with 720HD, The video camera will take full HD 1080 videos as well!

I love the Windows interface with it's live tiles. It is super easy to use and to learn, and it is very functional. I also use an iPhone as my company phone prefer the interface of the Windows phone over the iOS. The Windows App store has a lot of Apps but not quite as much as Apple or Android. However when Windows 10 is released I think we will see that change as well. I am running a preview version of Windows 10 on my Lumia 521 and the new interface looks great.

This phone has the quality and features of phone easily three to four times it's price or more. If you already love or like the Windows platform on the cell phone, you will LOVE this phone. If you're new to Windows or want to try something new, this phone is phenomenal. It is easily as good as iPhone 5 series phones at 1/4 of the the price

Holly hell, can you believe Microsoft, through Walmart has dropped the price of my Windows 640 cell phone down to only $59.99. I bought mine a month ago and paid $79.99 and felt I stole it. I'm going down and buy another for a backup. They are really trying to get these Windows phones off the ground and competing with the other makes. You can get a two year warranty for it for only $9.00.

I've been on windows phone and liked it well enough, are they on windows 10 for phones yet? I am not a big app user though. I cleaned my iPad today and got it down to one page of apps on the home screen.

Your right they are cheap to get people to buy them. The are new to the phone business. If they were older this phone could sell for a couple of hundred more. With most people having Windows on their computer, their phone works right with Windows on your computer. Like my Favorites on Windows on my computer, they show up on my cell phone. Same with appointments on my computer calendar, come in on my cell phone. If I lose my phone, my Microsoft account will tell me where it is and allow me to get it, lock it or delete everything on it. Even ring it. For $59.95 how can you lose? I can about 85-90% of what the expensive phones can do and some things they can't.

Well my Sister decided for $59.99, she would upgrade from her Windows 520 to the 640. I decided for that price, I'd buy another just for backup if something happened to this one.

My touchscreen phone and my fingers do not work well together. I am back to using my dumb phone because at least I can get it to answer.
