Lets hear the outrage at the incarceration of the boy when aged 15, just for being on a boat. Pity he wasnt using or selling drugs, he would have been freed immediately.
From the story sounds to me like just another person that did the wrong thing and is now looking for sympathy. He is a people smuggler...worst scum on the planet.
The wrist x rays are a scam. The boy was 15. I dont understand why there is no sympathy from the crowd. We have a boy of a similar age in Bali arrested for buying drugs and they are clamouring for his release. These young kids in prison in Australia are being ignored. Makes me think there is an extreme racist element to the alleged "empathy" being shown to drug abusers in Indonesia

He and ALL people smuggles should face very harsh penalties for their crimes, if we send a message that we will go soft on em then there will be more of it. Oh and i doubt that 300 will still be there once some of the fellas have their way with him....
Im not outraged, just exposing hypocrisy and double standards. That was my point should be obvious to anyone of normal intelligence. Not at all. Im comparing a young boy buying illegal drugs overseas to a young boy caught on a boat in illegal waters. Are you always this dramatic? Has anyone ever called you a drama queen?
Hes out now but it wouldnt happen anyway. Indo prisoners are extremely well liked and regarded inside by prison staff and their fellow inmates, consequently they are well protected from people like yourself.
A wrist xray doesn't always prove how old you are. It could depend on how well the boy was nourished, if he was small in stature I am sure the xray could have been wrong, or something. All he needs is a birth certificate, and all he was doing was working on a ship! He was NOT a people smuggler, but a cook!
Indonesian prisoners are possibly so well liked because the prison guards are just as corrupt as they are...
The Indonesian police and judges are corrupt. You can buy their decisions with a bribe. I would have thought this was common knowledge.
He would have to be either, a white woman, a rich white man, or some black or mexican drug dealer who murdered people due to there being "not enough evidence" and be freed
