The City of Alexandria in Egypt has announced that they will not renew the contract of Veolia.
Veolia is one of the major names listed on the BDS campaign.

The rest of Egypts cities are expected to follow when their Veolia contracts expire.

Oh yas I believe it and support it. However a fine is better than being jailed or shot for treason eh? BTW, boycotts work both ways! A boycott by is stupid and will harm the Arabs not help them especially when its over something as ridiculous as a woman being angered for not getting special treatment. I feel that as long as radical Muslims (read as radical Arabs) are murdering thousands of people at a time, using aircraft to do it the airport security should be even higher that it is right now.

What illegalities? That is a purely subjective statement. I would say that enacting a boycott against Israel because of a ARAB woman refusing to submit to a security check is well past stupid are well within the LAWs of the Israel. Israel didnt violate any laws that instigating ARAB woman is the criminal, because she was in violation of a law that EVERYONE has to obey. Does she think she is special?

Emirati Deputy Foreign Minister Tariq Ahmed al-Haidan says the United Arab Emirates "is determined to further expand economic relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran"

"Iran and the UAE have maintained their economic ties under all circumstances and we seek to expand these relations in the best possible way with all our potential", al-Haidan said in a meeting with Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi on Monday, IRIB reported.

Al-Haidan also expressed satisfaction with the friendly atmosphere of negotiations aimed at boosting ties between the two countries.

He also conveyed to Salehi a message by Emirati Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed al-Nahyan on the "further expansion of bilateral ties".

The Emirati deputy foreign minister also delivered a report to Salehi about the 6th Iran-UAE joint consular meeting.

Salehi said Iran-UAE relations have always been friendly, adding that there have been constant consultations and regular visits of officials between the two countries.

He reiterated that no issue should be left unresolved regarding bilateral ties between the two countries especially with respect to consular affairs and issues pertaining to the citizens of the two countries.

Salehi said that "Iran was ready to resolve any issue with the UAE through mutual cooperation and expert meetings".

The 6th Iran-UAE joint consular meeting was inaugurated by al-Haidan and Hassan Qashqavi, Iran's deputy foreign minister for Consular, Parliamentary and Iranian Expatriates' Affairs, in the Iranian capital Tehran on Monday.

The meeting is planned to focus on a number of issues related to both countries, including visas, prisoners' affairs, as well as customs and judicial issues.

A final agreement will be signed by the two deputy foreign ministers at the end of the two-day meeting.

Addressing a group of Iranian businessmen in Iran's Qazvin Province, Sherimkulov said Iran should establish major commercial companies in Kyrgyzstan, IRNA reported on Monday.

He said 180 small Iranian companies are currently operating in Kyrgyzstan, adding that both Iranian and Kyrgyz traders have established these firms through joint venture, with the Iranian companies accounting for 70 percent of the investment.

The Kyrgyz envoy also assured investors of security in his country and said the Kyrgyz government guarantees all foreign investments.

Sherimkulov voiced his country's desire for Iranian goods, particularly in the food industry. However, he blamed high transit costs, a lengthy transit route and high tariffs for the high prices of and lower tendency toward Iranian goods in Kyrgyzstan's market.

He expressed hope that through negotiations between officials from Iran and Kyrgyzstan, ground would be prepared for greater economic trade between the two countries.

The GCC states, said Al-Khorafi, are keen on strengthening ties with Iran, adding that it was important to take such steps in order to foil plans of disunit

Kuwait and Iran share a number of identical views and work diligently for resolving any disputes that may develop between the two nations. We accept any differences, but we are keen not to leave any disagreement without reaching a solution," he added. He called on the Kuwaiti top lawmaker to convey his greetings to the Kuwaiti leadership and people.
