    a big % of those "infected" might not even show symptoms.

    unless were testing everyone (we wont) were guessing at the numbers.

    in the meantime I'm early into the hunker down stage and ready to go on lockdown if needed

    So cool story, uou can't compare numbers from a different country or countries to the United States and say yep that will happen here. Which is what this report from NBC says. IT says at the current rate, which is where the 150mil is corning from. At the current rate, which could change in the next hour.

    Mortality rate is no where near accurate. Since most cases are mild and no medical treatment is saught, or those who have no symptoms at all, none are being counted. Only "severe" symptoms are being tested which is leaving out tens of thousands (or more) cases as being counted. If ALL cases were counted, mortality rate would be a fraction of a percent.

    And that's considered a good year for the flu deaths. A couple years ago was 80,000 dead.

    I believe we will succeed against the Coronavirus. I don't know how, I think we should take the proper steps the CDC has outlayed. But I firmly believe in our success.

    Trump's using their preferred words of choice and they're STILL complaining. Who could've predicted this? It's been 3 whole years. It's a tried and true pattern by now. One Democratic senator complained about Trump wearing his MAGA hat during the meeting.

    So true, like this graph from the Chinese Center for Disease Control.
    Even though the avg age for an American male is 76 there is still a 92% chance he’ll die of something other than Coronavirus. From this graph an elderly person if infected with Coronavirus is still 12 times more likely to die from something other than Coronavirus. So wishful thinking that this pandemic will wipe out an entire demographic is about the same odds as the Cleveland Browns winning the Super Bowl this year. Hysteria at its finest. We need to change the name of this disease from Chinese Coronavirus to American Pussitis.
