The consequences of this happening, what ever it was is what worries me, we will loose the freedom we now know on the internet,our emails and skype and all our phone calls will be legally 'taped'our homes will be searched without reason and soon and on and on and you worry that I am a Troll?

Look at what the Politicians are scurrying around cooking up now because of this, a murder by knife in South East London. Such a rare event ! not ..............

They are reporting another stabbing there now between gangs of the area such a rare event that they have called special meetings ..buzz buzz buzz bye bye a little bit more of our freedoms bye bye

In part, yes It is wider though ........God knows what they are now cooking up but take a look at the changes in the legal system that are on the books as well as search laws pertaining to what info will be gathered from private conversation over the phone or skype or by email, we shall loose our privacy all together.

 

Transparency should be a two way thing then.

Ergo, if a Gov can look at our personal life and habits, we should be given full disclosure on theirs.

Maybe, maybe not. Theresa May is certainly hyping things up but the LibDems are not for it. Muslim Organisations also are much more experienced as to how to deal with things. There were heaps of complaints when Nick Robinson said he 'looked like a Muslim' - so people are just as aware of the far right antics. It will be interesting to see how it resolves.

Emails TM would like but the LibDems have already pointed out that this did not work last time and is unworkable. Who the hell do you think is going to listen to all your skype and phone calls?...however listening to calls has been going on when wanted since we got phones. They need authority to do so. I cannot see anyone agreeing to the police listening to Joe Bloggs phone calls.

I see possible problems but only for the Muslim community. Of course once things are brought in they can be made applicable for anyone they want so civil liberties are very important to me. Ever thought of getting involved in some organisation where you can have some input?

In the old days I could tell when my phone was tapped, now a days I can't and nope they never found out anything useful but they did once (*)(*)(*)(*) up mine and someone close to me's life cruelly by not letting me through to someone important.........Those people were demoted but the damage was done.

My phone has been tapped regularly, at one time all my letters were pre opened, and I had secret police actually living over the road from me at one time and following me every where, why? because of an innocent connection and it has gone on most of my life, I very much doubt it happens now but I dunno.

I didn't mind too much then, I had nothing to hide really and learned never to say anything over the phone, they were not interested in me but who might contact me ........... But this is it. Anyone with something to hide does not talk openly on the phone or anywhere else. This is about Power. .
