By golly, SCOTUS has come through again for same-sex marriages! And all nine justices made this ruling too. Same-Sex Marriages are now on in the state of Idaho. And there are other recent victories for same-sex marriage granted by the Federal Courts as well. By the way, Idaho's governor, a Republican, has thrown in the towel on this.

This is significant. The fact that under full review of the court the decision was made to strike the bans down suggests if SCOTUS ever were to make a decision it would be in favor of marriage equality.

What about the will of the 60+ year old people in Idaho who think gay marriage is icky? Their rights have been trampled all over!

In their fogey-like way of thinking maybe some in that age group think its "icky" however, they sure need to explain to everyone how someone's same-sex marriage, more than likely someone they don't even know, would directly affect them and their marriage. That's something that they cannot do as the courts have found out and why they continue to rule against same-sex marriage bans. It's all in the mind of those who are prejudiced who were brought up in a time where even having Heterosexual sexual relations had to take place under several quilts or items of cover and then only for procreation purposes. Thankfully, that is not the thought of today especially by young people, the leaders of tomorrow and the future, as well as by free-thinking, non-prejudiced citizens who are thankfully in the majority now in this country (between 55-59%) who Approve of same-sex marriage.

They are allowed to think whatever they want to think.. and nobody is forcing them to marry gays.

Nope, they're being indoctrinated to do so! I bet many of them are feeling the desire to do so already! I'm contagious!
