Please. They were never about the free market. War on Drugs, War on people's personal lives, war on immigration.

(of course, you know that, but I'm just pointing it out for our gentle, yet slow, friends)

Obviously a business man like Buffet expects a return on his investment when transparently shills for Obama and his tax hikes.
No harm in making a few hundred million dollars for fronting for Barry, right?

It's called insider trading, and it's illegal. You're welcome for the information.

I fully expect Buffet will pull all his shares 10 seconds before Moodys downgrades their credit rating, due to their huge debt.

What part of Berkshire Hathaway do you not understand? But really, making some sort of distinction between Buffet himself and the corporation he controls and owns is intellectually cowardly, at best.

Then you have to show buffet knew obama was going to do this before he bought the stock. But of course as usual facts get in the way of blind hate.

I find your assessment to be fair enough. If it weren't, Democrats wouldn't win elections. So, just like people who profess to be conservatives, liberals are pro status-quo when their guy is in office. But beyond that your avatar depicts Obama as having engaged in some sort of "war on prosperity". Well, whose prosperity? Bank of America's? That of JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs? You can't be serious! Wall Street loves this guy, as does the for-profit war machine & healthcare industry. Oh, I thought for the first time in your life you were thinking in terms of class. No, you mean $h!+ like the moratorium on deepwater drilling, some regulatory action of hydro-fracturing and the delay of the construction of the final phases of the Keystone pipeline. So, when this administration has applied even the mildest of measures opposing crony capitalism, you haven't screamed your head off? Yeah, you probably did which makes you a hypocrite.

Your focus here is Warren Buffett when it doesn't much matter who the individual investors are. If you go to Morningstar and check BoA's shareholder overview it's dominated by other major financial institutions and mutual funds. Warren Buffett wasn't on any list I looked at. What you missed from your article is that this settlement represented the liability of the banks (with respect to foreclosure proceedings), thus some degree of accountability. But how can that be when their stock price took off? People made the same mistake with the passage of the Affordable Care Act. Here's an article showing why this settlement had a positive effect on the banks bottom line:

So there isn't any white-collar accountability, not really. It's just a ruse that will make many Americans believe that this government can and will hold Wall Street accountable. They DON'T because they CAN'T! It's laughable that some would see Buffett's personal windfall as a reflection of his shrewd market savvy or that of free market dynamics.

Please tell me ONE thing Obama has done that improved the economy? he has spent so much and borrowed so much the US got a credit downgrade which means we pay more in interest on the massive debt

Millions have given up looking for work while the total number of people in the workforce has decreased by over a million

How many have lost their homes since Obama took office?

Looks at gas and food prices

Obama has declared war on prosperity - everyone's prosperity

Obama and his supporters se the private sector as an enemy and they treat them as such

Yes Wall St has given money to Obama. I see it as protection money people pay the mob to leave them alone

What other contractors had the manpower and resources of Haliburton, at that moment, to the do the jobs that they got? Please list these other companies. Unless, you think Bush invented the war just to make his buddies money, which would make you a screaming lunatic.

But why not bring up Bush? It has been the normal response anytime Obama or his pals are brought up for discussion

Actually its in reverse, the USA only offered it to haliburton.

But as I said, it must be a huge coincidence that this happened to occur with the vice rpesidents ex company?

Again it shows the level op Hypocrisy . Either you accept bush and republicans were a lot worse, or you admit you blow this up because its obama.

Or is your hate for obama so big that any rational thought has left your head?

So now you just ignore arguments and just spew some random hate?

Its also fun to see you say companies should pay more taxes while al the republican candidates claim they should pay less.

Of course when anything even remotly related to obama pops up, all rational thoughts are gone, and the blind hate makes you say stupid things like this.

    Its not hate

Buffett is a typical liberal hypocrite. We whines hiow he is undertaxed, demands taxes go up on others, while he cheats on his own taxes

Just like many elected Dems have been caught doing

Now I understand libs would call that hate when someone points out these facts = it is the only defense they can come up with

    Exactly.

Tax me more...I'll just push it off to the side with the other money I'm currently not paying.
