Buying Child Sex Is Only A Misdemeanor In California. This Bill Would Change That.

After seeing how the left wants to 'protect' the rights of kids to switch genders, you'd think the left would want to protect kids from being sold for sex. But no, the left thinks it would do some sort of harm to minorities. Why does the left think minorities are in any more danger of being arrested for soliciting sex with a minor than anyone else? Is there something about minorities buy sex from kid I don't know about?

Soliciting is trying to make it happen. Penty of people are arrested for soliciting before an actual act takes place. All of the Dateline NBC To Catch a Predator cases were for soliciting, NOT statutory rape.

I'm only a Democrat at this point for Presidential elections, and even that took a lot of ****ing up on y'all's side to get there. And it looks like this bill has bipartisan support. I don't see why you would be blaming dems for the situation. Depending on the contents of the bill, I very well may support it. If, however (as I have often seen) it includes increasing criminal penalties for the victims, then no, I don't support it.

 

Quick question, @FatBack . If a 17 year old solicits sex with another 17 year old, offering to pay them, should that be a felony? Honest question.
