Not at the federal level, not at the state level, not even in a democratic stronghold like California. The democrats themselves killed the bill. This came as a total surprise to me because I was expecting California to be the guiding light to singlepayer once Trump care crashed and burned the nation. It just goes to show how the Democrats don't care for the working and poor masses, they were bought out by the lobbyists and sold out everyone. RIP single payer in America.
Been saying it for years, it's never coming. All those other nations that have it didn't make the choice to try and own the globe. We can't afford it with the current direction. Maybe if Trump can cut some of the waste and money bleeding out to the world we can someday.
California is going to be in trouble as the ACA and or the new bill phases out federal funding, their budget whoas will be felt nationwide.
Don't think I do either, but my point was that single payer simply isn't coming here. Heck we cant even fix our infrastructure, but people allow themselves to be strung along with things like single payer lol. But it gets votes for the party who is "fighting for you to have it" right?
