I know that Wisconsin doesn't have the death penalty, but former FBI agent Jonathan Gilliam says that officials in Wisconsin should consider the death penalty for him. So what the hell is that about? Either way, couldn't the FEDERAL death penalty be applied?
I think it would have to be a federal crime for a federal death penalty to be an option. Just put him in general population in a supermax and let nature take it course.
I dont think so. I mean it can be if its on federal property or the victim is a federal employee or something like that. But in general, no, its the jurisdiction of the state its commited in.
He can be charged for things like civil rights violations by the feds. This should stay in the state courts and if there is no death penalty then that’s just the way it is.
Likely. Invoking 'terrorist' pretty much anulls all legal limitations and jurisdictional boundaried and allows Fedgov to do w/e it wants.
