[1]. "911 dispatcher hung up on thousands of calls because she didn't feel like talking" [/QUOTE] Crenshanda eh? Her mom put more effort in naming her than she would put into those calls. Anybody care to guess what political party she supports?
Do you think the political party she supports would somehow discredit the positions that political party supports? Am I supposed to become pro life because a terrible 911 operator is pro choice?
No but given her complete lack of regard for others and her laziness I'm assuming she is a democrat. She probably thinks she did nothing wrong and was only punished(Barely) because of racism!!!!
I'm just trying to figure out what you think her political views have to do with anything. Do you think the actions of a random person who happens to vote Republican, is a reflection on the political views held by Republicans? I have an Uncle who is in the KKK and votes Republican, i don't think Republicans support the KKK though.
The fact she probably has an IQ not much higher than room temp is another clue how she probably votes.
I have to agree with your first 3 statements but simply don't know about the last one since it's been over 20 years since I lived in a poor, crime ridden neighborhood.
No, my only purpose in posting that incident was to show that dialing 911 does not always produce the desired results.
Yea, i didn't have an issue with you posting the link. It is relevant to the topic. I was responding to someone who brought up what political party they thought she might support, which isn't relevant.
Thanks for responding. A blacksmith is different than a farrier in that a farrier works primarily on shoeing horses and a blacksmith makes countless other things out of steel / wrought iron including reactive steel targets and target stands. Even though I've had countless jobs, vocations, professions etc, blacksmithing has been my favorite. I barely made a living at blacksmithing for about 25 years but current health issues & just getting old has slowed me down. I started by reading books, ruining some perfectly good steel and making some very ugly things. Slowly, I got better and made everything from harpoon heads to reproduction Elizabethan artifacts, table bases, fireplace tools, wine racks with steel grape vines, African animals, small cannons, bizarre door knockers, a jazz band with 6' human figures holding musical instruments, sculpture, gates, bird bath stands and on and on. I think that you posted a picture of an attractive recumbent bicycle that you made a few years ago. Does that sound familiar? Have fun but be careful.
That's pretty awesome I'd like to get into more of it myself. I wonder if my dad still has his anvil? He used to keep the forge in his truck for shaping horseshoes when he was shoeing. He also used to do a bit of general blacksmithing, making various things. He is well into his seventies and still doing farrier work, also equine dentistry. He's a very educated man with a master's degree in animal science and taught agriculture for many years. I made a small cannon myself years ago. But I made it all with fabrication and welding, did not do any forging on it. It had a welded breech cap and it fired 44 lead ball. I always put it behind a tree or something very Stout every time I fired it. I have a makeshift anvil myself that is a bracket from some power lines that some linemen threw out years ago. I cast lead bullets for my 44 cap and ball, nothing fancy just a double cavity Lyman mold and a small pouring ladel that holds around 3 oz and the propane torch to melt it. I've also melted up to 8 lb of lead at a time in a cast iron pot on an outdoor wood fire to do some ant mound castings. I would like to do some more casting but I need to make a furnace and a crucible to work with other metals. And yes I have built several recumbent bicycles. My most recent fabrication was a backwards three-wheel trike for a special needs teen and his mother.
