    But the Catholic church shouldn't be covering for them either (and they HAVE for DECADES)
    Nor should catholics be blaming everyone but the priests and ranting it's "bigotry against catholicism" for mentioning it and wanting the church to actually DO something (And oh, aren't they just ranting !)

    It seems ironically religion, through a selfish and grotesque desperation to save face in various ways is the only organisation, that will systematically protect sexual predators.

    In Morocco, the moderate forward thinking Islamic country in North Africa, the penal code still condones the law that as long as the girl's parents agree an underage girl can marry her rapist so he can avoid prosecution and so the family can avoid "the shame".

    A young girl killed herself over this recently and it sparked protest. You could say this reflects culture rather than religion... but those lines have always been blurred to me.

    Anyone who wants to try and uphold Catholicism or Islam (or otherwise) needs to deal some death blows to this barbarism.

    Anyway as a solution, castration is a good start. And good old fashioned branding, right on the forehead "I AM A SEX OFFENDER" that should stop them from sneaking their way back into the system.

    It's not just the church, look at the military, in general... they love a bit of rape.

    Always amazed me that the politically correct "wimmin" always look the other way when it comes to non-whites, and non-christians (One rabid religion in particular) abusing children and abusing womens "rights" and anything else. Rant it's "islamaphobia" and don't answer.

    When I was a young boy I met on my way to school every day a man who was castrated from the Nazis. The only people in Germany who spoke about to castrate others were Nazis. It had not really anything to do with "to think" or "to feel" what the Nazis once did. They just simple were not able to notice something about the wonderful real world all around them.

    while I think the act of these folks is reprehensible, I find attacking the entire group just as wrong as when republicans attack all of any other group because of the actions of a few

    go after the wrong doers and those that protect\support them .... not after the entire group

    Wrong ; Before the Nazis - castration was widely meted out as punishment for sex criminals , rapists etc, throughout Europe + also in America.
