Had the kid frowned, he would have been attacked by Liberal Media for not being "receptive."

I spent the last three days pouring over my law books and case history. I did not find one case that showed smirking is a race issue. In fact, I did not find one case that defined what a smirk is. In fact, the only people calling this kid's facial expression a smirk are the same race baiters who see racial hatred as the key issue in every act.

What I see is a kid who is uncomfortable with some burned out, toothless, yahoo beating a toy drum in his face. In truth, this young man's personal space was invaded. He had legal justification to physically remove this guy from his personal space. The fact that he did not shows exceptional self control.

 

So what? it doesn't mean the kid didn't react in a racist manner.

I had the impression that slogan was perceived as too nationalistic, that the left thought it promoted abhorrent exceptionalist notions associated with "America First" and that by association with Trump implied the sort of characteristics Hillary attributed to that "basket of deplorables" who supported him. Am I mistaken? Isn't this actually how the left perceives those who sport that cap?

No, I want an intelligent response, I'm not among the critical left, I know of them, they've got this #resist and apparently oppose everything Trump says and does, so I naturally surmise his campaign slogan is also opposed by them.
