I have been involved in electronics all my life and computers since the early seventies. I am a Democrat, and proud of it! I have seen most everything in politics one could imagine...until THIS political season. I love good discussions on both sides, and will stand my ground, as my handle indicates. Welcome Challenger, I have also been involved in computers since the 70's. My first computer was an IBM XT with a whopping 20MB hard drive. I also worked in Silicon Valley making printed circuit boards for 25 years. I changed careers when most of those factories went off shore mainly due to environmental regulations. I think politics has become entertainment, kind of like a reality show that directly affects the viewer.
Maybe I should fill in some info on my handle "<Challenger>". Over the last dozen years or so, I have used "Challenger" or Challenger!" for many other forums. Most of these were involved in the technical, computer, satellite, and other electronic fields. I have also used that for automotive areas. I have several email addresses associated with or close to that moniker. I've even used it to aggravate Rush Limbaugh fans (dittoheads) over the years. That's been a very rewarding and pleasing experience. Someone else here has beat me to the name. So, I'm not the same individual as some may be concerned with. Thanks all.
