Chicago Mayor allies push to raise taxes and defund police for a total of $12B/year for their agenda

Chicago's new mayor, Brandon Johnson, has allies who want to raise taxes on the rich and defund police. They want to decriminalize loitering and other crimes that they claim are plaguing black and brown people disproportionately. The People's Unity Platform is what they call themselves and they have a manifesto. It's called "First We Get The Money". If Mayor Johnson is stupid enough to go along with this, I will enjoy watching Chicago fall flat on it's face. We've given them plenty of warning and leftist cities have given many examples to counter the effectiveness of this nonsense.

Not only will crime increase, but businesses will leave Chicago even faster and the voters of Chicago will get what they voted for.
