The Deficit Spending must be brought under control but when you have an Economy predicted to exist at over $22 Trillion by 2020 this debt can be paid down quickly as long as the economy is strong and Energy Self Sufficiency is KEY to this.

The Chinese Communist Party bought up U.S. Debt because they believed if they bought all they could not only was it a safe investment it might allow China to sway U.S. Foreign Policy.

It had the exact opposite effect.

Because the Chinese Economy is so dependent upon Exports to the U.S. as well as dependent upon the Loan Payments of the U.S. Debt they bought....the United States could completely collapse the Chinese Economy in a week by either refusing to pay Loan Payments back or refusing to allow any Chinese Exports into the U.S. which are goods we don't need strategically.

Either or or both would collapse the Chinese Economy and they are aware now of their HUGE MISTAKE.

The U.S. is the most diverse population on the planet as it basically mirrors the planet although some nationalities have been here longer than others.

Anytime you have 320 Million people from ever walk of life....every Nationality....every Religion....every skin color....every Culture....and they all live together....SURE....you are going to have some issues....but those of us who live in the U.S. LOVE THIS COUNTRY!!

I have been all over the world and that includes Aussie Land as I did a JOB with my Team and a few members of the Aussie SAS on an Island East of Sumatra.

Australia and the U.S. share a lot of things in common as both areas are vast and although both the East Coast and West Coast as well as cities along the Canadian boarder and Great Lakes such as Chicago....one of the most beautiful cities in the world by the way with incredible architecture as well as Museums and great Food and Music.....but the vast majority of the United States is unpopulated.

Australia is also underpopulated although has a much dryer climate than the majority of the U.S. as the U.S. enjoys a vast variety of different climates and zones from Tropical to Arctic and from the Hottest Place on Earth as Death Valley California has temps. at 137 degrees F.....to the windiest place on Earth which is close to where I live in the State of New Hampshire as Mt. Washington has wind speeds of up to 240 miles per hour.

But the vast majority of the U.S. is a beautiful place to live where ever one decides to live and what you talk about is media sensationalism in the Cities.

    To China about $125 Billion a year....total about $250 Billion a year.

But you have to understand when you have a current $17.7 Trillion Economy....which is growing and if it grows to the...and this is the LOW PREDICTION....$21 Trillion by 2020.....the HIGH PREDICTION.....$24.6 Trillion by 2020......we could pay it off very quickly.

You know.....it is unfortunate that rather than debate what I posted you have chosen to post in the manner you have.

If you have an issue with something I posted you could have simply provided a link to a source with data that might prove me wrong.....but you didn't.

You chose to make a debate on an Internet Forum PERSONAL....and for what reason I have no idea?

It is NEVER a good idea to make it PERSONAL especially when you have absolutely no idea who and what the other person is you are making such a debate PERSONAL with.

It may have not been in direct question form, but I did mention the 29ers,
the trillions of dollars owed by students in student loans
and the trillions tied up in junk bonds.
I also referred to the social unrest within America, another sign of recession/depression.
All of these topics you totally ignored.
But I am used to being ignored by Americans who think the USA is the greatest
place on earth. I dont mind being ignored. We have different opinions. We are entitled
to our opinions. It just that people from outside America always have a different opinion
to those from inside America. Thats the way it is, and thats the way it always has and will be.
Australia and the rest of the world, USA, UK, all of us,...China,... all countries are heading for a
world wide giant depression...but what would I know...
The Free Trade Agreement between China and Australia is a one sided crock of sh!t, created
specifically to pander to China by our gutless, incompetent Government. But what would I know..
At least the unions are jacking up about it, and hopefully the FTA wont even get through the Senate
unless it is amended to the satisfaction of the Unions.
Australia is being out from under our feet, and the average Australian either doesnt care, or just
doesnt know....but what would I know...
America is in a mess, interest rates will go up, QE4 will commence, and the sh!t will hit the fan.
People on food stamps will suffer, as will the millions of unemployed, and the 29ers suffering
under the incompetence of Obama and his Obamacare will suffer even more with the rise
    in interest rates.
You dont have to answer any of my comments, no of course not, just continue living in your
gilded cage and wash your five cars....

    Again you make this PERSONAL.

I have never denied that the U.S. has it's issues and yes we have people in the U.S. with Student Loans they have not paid back and yes we need to pay down our debt.

But I help run several family owned companies and I KNOW when our economy is picking up or sliding backwards and right now it is picking up.

We are fully capable as a Nation to deal with our problems as we always have in the past and we will do so now as well.....and I am sorry you think I was on some GO GO USA!! rant....but I was telling you that right now the U.S. and Canada are poised upon the edge of an Economic Boom.

This is because of low energy costs, the line of Corporations worldwide that want to set up manufacturing in the U.S. because of these low energy costs....because of the massive U.S. Infrastructure and because the U.S. Worker is ranked #1 in the World in Productivity.

The GOOD NEWS for Australia is that as the American Economy goes so does our allies economies as every single time the U.S. Economy has BOOMED....our allies economies have grown as well as the U.S. Economy is completely linked to every economy on the Planet even the nations we have no trade with as they have trade with nations that trade with us.

If I were you I would be upset about the Free Trade Agreement between China and Australia as well because the Chinese Government subsidises their Companies plus since there are 1.7 Billion Chinese even though the Chinese report there is only 1.35 Billion as China purposely under reports their population numbers to get the U.N. Poverty and Human Rights Committies off their A$$E$......China is able to pay people in Chinese Rural Areas the sum of $1 a Day to work 16 hours assembly line work and Australia cannot compete with this.

The U.S. PURPOSELY has allowed a Trade Imbalance exist between China and the U.S. for the reason of WESTERNIZATION OF CHINA....which was a plan developed back in the early 1970's by Kissinger and Nixon.

The goal was to allow China to grow economically so they would have money to purchase American Cultural Entertainment, Food, Burgers and Fries...etc....all in an effort to allow the average Chinese person to get to a point where they began to understand that they did not need the Chinese Communist Leadership to tell them what they could or could not do and right now the Communist Leadership of China is having a hard time justifying it's existence as China is no longer a Communist Nation.

    From your posted link.

For example, China's parliament passed a plan over the weekend to cap outstanding local government debt at $2.5 trillion this year in an effort to stem escalating borrowing. Local governments racked up around $2.9 trillion in debt as of end-June, according to official estimates. Reforms like these will help restore investor confidence in the economy and markets, said analysts at ING in a morning note.

The true extent of Chinese Debt is difficult to know but it is massive.

Of course what they are doing in causing all sorts of market issues and this is a perfect example of why a person needs a very diverse Investment Portfolio and I certainly have to keep a close watch on my investments.

But there are and have been investment oppertunities in many U.S. Companies and other International Companies.

As example....I purchased 10,000 shares of Netflix a while back and it went through the roof.

Any company that has a large amount of stock that is Chinese owned is something I would stay well away from as China has to restructure it's investments and with the amount of debt China has which is not reported or vastly under reported is getting out of hand and the Chinese just cannot keep printing up more money and controlling their moneys value artificially.

I have been to China several times and the Chinese have spent HUGE SUMS OF MONEY in urban areas and building skyscrapers just for the purpose of having tall buildings before they even have businesses who need the office space.

Some member here posted an article called something like....THE EMPTY TOWERS OF CHINA....as the Chinese Communist Party Leadership continues to have a need to present itself not only to the world but now to it's own people as necessary for the greatness and wealth of China as they spend Billions upon Billions of Dollars upon huge civic projects of art and architecture while the about 800 Million Chinese in rural areas still are living very much as they have for the past 1000 years.

The Chinese Communist Party Leadership does not want foreigners to travel into the vast Chinese rural areas as they want you to only visit their Cities because once you get into the rural areas....and I have been there.....in multiple Chinese Provinces.....the level of poverty would ASTOUND YOU!!

They keep build skyscrapers while the rest of China goes hungry and lives in poverty.

Thus as they as a Communist Society pay for Healthcare...etc....they are building up massive debt which they do not discuss or diclose and it has gotten to a point where such massive debt can no longer be ignored and their BUBBLE IS BURSTING!!!

I will tell you EXACTLY what this is all about.

The Chinese Communist Party Leadership sent Funds to multitudes of what would be like COUNTIES in the United States....as each U.S. State is comprised of a multitude of COUNTIES and within these Counties are towns and cities.

The Counties exist to break down a state into multiple regions for the purpose of both having State and Federal FUNDS allocated to these Counties as well as for the purpose of designating both STATE AND FEDERAL REPRESENTATION as well as Mass. has both a STATE SENATE comprised of 40 State Senators that each represent about 159,000 people as well as a State House of Representitives and a Governor and a State Supreme Court.

Massachusetts also by Population has 9 U.S. Congressmen who are voted into Office by the people living in a specific area or District of the State and these 9 Congressmen are part of the U.S. House of Representatives who vote on Bills to either make new laws or not.

As every U.S. State does Massachusetts has U.S. 2 Senators as there are a total of 100 U.S. Senators 2 from each of the 50 States and they vote on any Bill that has passed through the U.S. House of Representatives first....and if the Senate votes on a Bill and it passes through the Senate it goes to the President to sign or Veto and a Veto can be overriden with a 2/3rds Majority Veto Override vote.

Anyways.....The Chinese Communist Party Leadership was sending all this money to areas in China like DISTRICTS in the U.S. and the District Officials wanted to spend the money ON THINGS THEY ACTUALLY NEEDED!!!

But the Chinese Communist Party Leadrship which is HELL BENT on trying to remain relevent in providing money for MASSIVE CIVIC AND ART AND BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS....in areas of China that would rather spend the money on BASIC SERVICES like fixing roads and bridges and developing almost non-existing infrastructure when instead the Chinese Communist Party send these Regions the equivelent of $50 Million to carve a STATUE OUT OF A MOUNTAIN OF A CHINESE COMMUNIST LEADER....when the Local Officials just would like to spend a lousy $500,000 to fix an old fallen bridge that forces villagers to walk or bike for over 1 hour to get to another bridge many miles away!!!

So the Local Politician's did not spend the money of the assigned projects hoping the Communist Party would allow them to spend at least some of the still unspend large sum of money on direly needed projects.

But instead the Chinese Communist Party labeled this CORRUPTION and took the funds back!!!

As I stated....they are still building SKYSCRAPERS when they already have so many that are empty just so their skyline looks impressive to the outside world!!!
