It's oft repeated that the Chinese have the highest iq. Does this translate into China becoming the undisputed world number 1 super power?
It certainly does not hurt their chances. By the same token, it has not saved their populous from shockingly widespread abject poverty. On a side note, I do wonder if their measured high IQ scores are across their entire population, or just amongst those that are wealthy enough to migrate to the West.
Why are you bringing up IQ when China does not lead the world in IQ?. China could become the world leader in many areas but it will not be because they have the HIGHEST IQ.
AFAIK, Koreans do. No, there are too many confounding factors, especially institutional ones. Look at North Korea.
That's horseshit. BUT, since China is a totalitarian dictatorship, they can test for intelligence and then make sure their brightest get the best education possible. We, do it a little differently in America. We give our young adults almost no help and on top of that make sure they're strapped with crushing debt if they do decide to get educated. In any case, since you haven't noticed, China is having real financial problems and a contracting economy. I wouldn't rush to count America out just yet. U.S., as an example, weathered the COVID storm better than any other nation in the world.
Chinese apparently have higher iq than Americans (the current world super power). That's the projection I'm forecasting, that if the Chinese are more intelligent than Americans then what can even stop them?
Your stat. Methinks the people tested in that group are not a representative sample of actual chinese persons. For example: I sorta doubt they let the people in the concentration camps test, because it would **** up their average.
Depends on a lot of other factors. Historically, I dont think any number 1 superpower has ever also had the highest average IQ. China's primary means of projecting power is economic. And while their economy is huge, its also rather fragile. It may turn out to be that a high IQ isnt the most important tool in being a superpower. But Im sure it helps.
Idk what you could mean by that in regards to the op..ai is created using intelligent manipulation by individuals.
I still don't understand what IQ has to do with it. For starters China is number #5 on the list for IQ and the US is #28 so it is not like China is the only country with a average higher IQ than us. There are 27 countries with higher IQs yet we are still, as you say, the current world super power. That alone should tell you that IQ and being the #1 world super power are NOT correlated. Canada is #16 on the list. They are 12 places ahead of us. Do you fear they will usurp us as becoming the world super power because they are more "intelligent" than Americans? The bottom line is there is probably no hard relationship between IQ and being a superpower. https://worldpopulationreview.com/country-rankings/average-iq-by-country
Let's just look at the iq difference between the Chinese and USA for starters. The wide gap in intelligence AT THE MOMENT would determine that China will eventually come to dominate USA would it not?
Give up on the premise that there is any correlation between IQ and being the world superpower. China may indeed surpass the US and become the world #1 superpower but it won't be because they have the HIGHEST IQ or even a higher IQ than the U.S.
So Chinese intelligence being vastly superior than USA has no bearing at all on them overtaking USA as the super power?
"the Chinese have the highest iq ... China becoming the undisputed world number 1 super power" Maybe I should have just said ... NO!
That's what is horseshit. Everyone forgets that they were the recipients of technology that was developed here in the united states. And, they even got the very machines, in some cased, that had been used in our factories. What they've proven is they have a very desperate population that is willing to work in slave conditions for little money. That doesn't make them super anything but merciless taskmasters. Which is coming to light now, by the economic problems they are having. They aren't "overtaking" anything. They are decades behind our military in technology, and can't begin to compete with us when it comes to experience. They've already tapped OUR expertise for all it was worth, going forward they're on their own. And our inventors and inventiveness is just getting warmed up. They've already beat the productiveness out of their population.
But as has already been explained, the Chinese have a higher intelligence quotient than USA. So how is that horseshii exactly?
China has a higher iq than USA. That's a fact. All race and iq experts trot that fact out every second of the day.
idont like to capitalise i. All race & iq experts will tell you that Chinese have a higher iq than americans idont even know why you're arguing this if you're a race & iq expert.
