Let's make that a meme. He's no more above the law than the rest of us. The various courts of appeal that he continues to use in order to delay his looming accountability keep telling him so. Let's shout it from the rooftops, as the saying goes! CITIZEN TRUMP! CITIZEN TRUMP! CITIZEN TRUMP!
Citizen Trump has a right to free speech and to protest the fraudulent votes and election policies. J6 was his right.
And now whinny Trump is vulnerable to criminal and civil prosecution Which in our litigious society will go on Forever Trump is used to bankruptcy .........
By calling him "citizen" you're confirming he has the same civil rights and civil liberties as the rest of us. Are you sure you want to do that?
Yep! And that's the whole point. It has nothing to do with "justice", or, "upholding the law". It's allllll about "getting the Bad Orange Man".
No. It's about holding Trump accountable for his action's that has harmed either physically or financially people or companies If he's guilty or not a jury or judge will decide It's all on him
The only "action" Trump is being held accountable for is winning the 2016 election. That's allllll this is about...lol
We have never held a citizen, a protest organizer, liable for the actions of every person at that protest unless maybe they specifically called for that violence. He is due equal treatment under the law as a citizen.
Trump is a Trailblazer !! We've heard many times from Trump " Never in the history of Mankind has anyone but me ................... Blah, Blah, Blah . Many would agree Trump was the mail reason for the insurrection as well as dereliction of duty in stopping the violence However Trump has 91 indictments for various actions that his actions prompted these indictments: Activities to overturn the election Refusing to turn over classified documents His company has several cases against it He's been found guilty twice in Jean Carroll cases
None of the charges are for insurrection. He wasn't found guilty. He can only be found guilty in a criminal trial. You want him treated like a citizen. Yes?
Just some of the indictments because of Trumps actions ........... Former President Donald Trump has been indicted in the special counsel's investigation into his alleged plot to overthrow the 2020 election. Trump has been charged with four counts: conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding and conspiracy against rights. "Despite having lost, the defendant was determined to remain in power. So for more than two months following election day on November 3, 2020, the Defendant spread lies that there had been outcome-determinative fraud in the election and that he had actually won. These claims were false, and the defendant knew that they were false," the indictment said. Here's a summary of the charges Trump is facing in Washington, D.C., for attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 election: one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States applies to Trump's repeated and widespread efforts to spread false claims about the November 2020 election while knowing they were not true and for allegedly attempting to illegally discount legitimate votes all with the goal of overturning the 2020 election, prosecutors claim in the indictment. one count of conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding was brought due to the alleged organized planning by Trump and his allies to disrupt the electoral vote's certification in January 2021. one count of obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding is tied to Trump and his co-conspirators' alleged efforts after the November 2020 election until Jan. 7, 2021, to block the official certification proceeding in Congress. one count of conspiracy against rights refers to Trump and his co-conspirators alleged attempts to "oppress, threaten and intimidate" people in their right to vote in an election. Last May, a jury found that Mr. Trump sexually abused Ms. Carroll, a former advice columnist for Elle magazine who said he assaulted her nearly three decades ago in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room. That same jury found he had also defamed her after he repeatedly denied the accusations and accused her of lying.
Like I said, no indictments for "insurrection" and no guilty verdict for rape. What part of all this don't you understand?
Yes, he does have rights, but even the courts are cutting him far more slack than they would for you or I. You bet I want that. He's been mollycoddled enough, imo.
Haven't you seen his speeches and read the tweets? I don't let government do my thinking for me. He never called for violence and in fact said to be peaceful.
