City of Reno replaces American Flag with Gay Flag

"Sunday in Reno, Nevada, the infamous gay-pride rainbow flag replaced the American flag over City Hall. The outrage was immediate. For very good reason, many see the gay pride flag as a symbol of oppression, hate and bullying. City leaders eventually backed down claiming that the fascist gay-pride flag was supposed to fly with the American flag, not replace the American flag.

What the so called "city leaders" do no realize, IMO, is that ordering it to fly alongside the American flag is as repulsive to many as flying it by itself, maybe more so. What say you? Should city leaders allow gay fascists to replace the American flag with the Gay flag, and if not that, to fly it alongside the American flag?

I read a few articles on this already and I really have give the author of this particular one credit for pointing out who is really being oppressed by this flag.

This was a flag on a government building, you know, the very thing were complaining about a month ago. Yesterday some descendants of an unknown African tribe killed a man because he had the flag you leftists object to on his car.

 

The article nailed the meaning of the rainbow flag perfectly...

heh I like how they said it was supposed to fly WITH the american flag... where is the second flag pole on that building? because uhhhh I only see the one... and if a second flag were to put me lets say directly under the other flag, it would probably be touching the roof of the building and dragging along its top... so were they going to connect them at the same points and fly both flags connected together which no flag should be connected to or fly above the american flag...

so what were they REALLY planning to do... lol

I'm just always fascinated at this "its no big deal" attitude when liberals do something, but when conservatives do something its outrageous and we demand their removal from office and destruction as a political party, we interview no democrats asking them how they feel about the liberal who did something, but we interview dozens upon dozens of republicans asking if they support or condemn the republican who did something...

Yeah I noticed that too. It goes to show how the mayor is trying to weasel out of her error. The mayor's error was ordering the gay flag to be flown on top of City Hall in the first place. Until she apologizes for that, she has not apologized for anything.

 

Sodomy has been legal for years. Besides who the hell wants blowjobs illegal?!?!

 

While I have no problem with the flag personally and I am a supporter of gay rights, I have sent emails and a letter to City Hall asking for the removal of whomever made this decision since I live in Reno. Now my emails and letter most likely will be ignored but I have at least done my part. At no point should the U.S. flag be replaced for ANY flag. Also seeing as how the gay pride flag is not a state approved flag to fly on state property it should not be flown on state property either.

 

Shall we name the 50 or so Lib sites you fondly think of as the gospel? LOL
