Yet another example of the controlled media, both left and right, here in the U.S. While they give you little bits and pieces of news that tells you basically nothing, they march onward to WORLD GOVERNMENT...all right in front of us.

HR 3534 is a thinly disguised permanent roadblock to American energy which drives American companies out of the Gulf, delays future drilling, increases dependency on foreign oil, implements climate change legislation and youth education programs; but most important, it mandates membership in the Law of the Sea Treaty without the required two-thirds vote to ratify it in the U.S. Senate. Read more at LOST below

The House passed the CLEAR Act (HR 3534) 209-193, July 30, 2010. This bill was originally introduced July 8, 2009, but was resurrected by the recent Deep Water Horizon oil spill crisis. According to www.govtrack.us, a debate may be taking place on a companion ..........

I heard about it from Alex Joneshttp://theintelhub.com/2010/09/22/17314/, here is an article..

    Overfishing decimating world fish stocks...
    :omg:
Can the Oceans Continue to Feed Us?
Thursday 10 November 2011 - Washington - Far out on the Pacific Ocean, the world's industrial fishing fleets pursue one of the last huge wild hunts — for the tuna eaten by millions of people around the world.

I now think that it is the increased acidification of the oceans rather than overfishing that is the primary reason for the decimation of fish stocks.

    Ocean acidification...

This trend of the oceans becoming more acidic could in fact be more dangerous even than global warming.

A number of breeds of snails now have very weak shells.

Is anything NOT a conspiracy with posters on this board or Alex Jones??

Best I can tell, in government SPEAK, if it PRECLUDES blowing up mammals (or causing their DEATHS from seismic testing looking for 'ENERGY') on our Atlantic Ocean side here in Florida and puts more oversight to STOP or CONTROL BP style EXPLOSIONS in our Gulf, then I say--go for it!! I just hope to hell it has TEETH!!! Real TEETH!

This needs to be moved to the conspiracy theory thread. It does not pass the smell test.

On the other hand maybe we should take a serious look at how much damage we really are doing to our environment?

I personally know folks on BOTH SIDES of the aisle who are LISTENING hard about the 'seismic testing' that they are planning to do down here. It got their attention. I immediately thought of the OBVIOUS mammals, disorienting dolphins, whales, etc. I DIDN'T know it could well effect bottom dwellers as well. I still don't understand the science of disturbing the 'mollusk' group but I have no reason to question the veracity of--I think--it was National Geographic.

The U. N. impresses me as largely being corrupt and incompetent.

I don't want to see U. N. control of much of anything increased ........ but............. if we don't make some serious improvements ourselves the threat of our losing power to the U. N. should make us take a look at how we are behaving?!

I believe it is time to talk about putting serious bucks into beginning to do business in a way that is truly sustainable.

A century or two ago an influential segment of the population felt that it was their duty to ensure that those awful commoners did not gain too much power.......... so measures were taken to ensure that unions were broken....... and highly dishonest practices were put in place in central banking policy in all wealthy nations.

In order to finance the changes needed to transition over to a truly sustainable economy..... we must take a look at flaws in central banking policy that is highly outdated.

Yep. But the Right should be quite happy about it's incompetence. Of course we have a US CONGRESS of all US citizens who sit in the same building, working in offices within a 2 square mile radius of each other who speak the same language and can't get (*)(*)(*)(*) done and go after each other WORSE than UN members on a bad day. We are going to discuss the ineptitude of the UN consisting of thousands of people from a couple of hundred countries from all over the world??

    Can you spell H Y P O C R I S Y??
