This is moronic. First off, they can't even agree on the date. These guys say it's just under 7 years. Two years ago, these other guys said it was 7 years (so 5 now): 'Climate Clock' Unveiled in New York City | Earth.Org

All of these contradictions only serve to undermine the public's confidence in their claims. If they wanted to be credible, they should begin by agreeing on what "the science" is telling them / us.

 

Higher taxes will save the planet. Meanwhile, Biden and his entourage travel to Delaware every weekend, Kerry has five mansions, Obama has at least three, the Clintons have four….heck, I could go on for a long time.

 

Not to be too much of a conspiracy theorist but it seems to me that all these "world is going to burn up if you don't do what I say, RIGHT NOW" are aimed to soften our resistance to concentrating power into fewer and fewer hands; with, of course, the promise that they'll "take care of us"

Anyone who believes the billionaires who gather at Davos, or Aspen are calling for drastic powers over the nations of the world are doing it out of selfless concern is a fool.

 

It was 2002, then 2020, then in 2020 we had 12 years, now we're down to 6. Trillions made on this nonsense that the climate hasn't always changed, who caused the glacier ages? Who caused the heat waves before mankind? This money grab makes me sick. If they really wanted clean energy the left would be making nuclear plants all over, fixing the energy crisis, give them clean electricity to fuel those EVs instead of powering them with fossil fuels. I could go on and on but all you have to do is follow the money.

It seems obvious to me that "climate emergency" is just made up hooey based on science denial, meaningless buzzwords, and ever changing fear mongering mantras over many decades about "only 7 years left... only 12 years left...".

"COVID emergency" is to get people afraid of contracting a mild cold-like illness.
"Climate emergency" is to get people afraid of experiencing various temporary seasonal weather events.

Government gains power and control while the citizenry gets bent over furniture.

 

Those people still travel all around the world in their private jets. They don't seem too concerned about "climate emergency" to me... Just like they didn't wear masks when the cameras weren't on them; again, not very concerned about "COVID emergency"...

 

But there's no power and control to be gained from practical, common sense environmentalism and conservation.

Those that stand to profit from a crisis become painfully obvious, quickly.

Taxing it isn't going to stop it, or even slow it down. It will line the pockets of politicians, special interest groups, and 'scientists' who function solely on the basis of who signs their paycheck.

I absolutely snort-laugh when some person says 'it's settle science'. No, it's not. Science is never settled, it's the nature of the beast.

 

It is nothing more than a cult-like belief, with ultimate faith that only the government can save you.

Only the government knows what's best for you you should listen to them

 

You should see how hot it is here in Southwest Florida.... Obviously it's that dastardly climate change at play....

The sad/unfortunate part about all this, in my opinion, is that it's taking people's eyes off the "light green", common sense environmentalism & conservationism we were talking about. During the course of my lifetime those things have done more to improve the environment and benefit wildlife than anything else

 

What they want is this:


8,000 American middle class jobs gone just like that. This is expected to increase to 35,000 middle class jobs lost in the next 3 years. The batteries will be manufactured in China of course. Chinese hegemony is here, our elites are now dancing to China's tunes.

Given that electricity comes from coal, this will of course do nothing to reduce carbon emissions. What is more alarming is what millions of electric cars sucking energy will do to our power grid. The elites know what will happen and I think it makes them happy. They want a caste system where only the elite own cars, homes and eat decent food. They want us to eat bugs.
