Going into the 2016 election, the DNC was basically bankrupt. The Clinton foundation bankrolled them in exchange for a guaranteed nomination. That's why they nom'd her instead of Sanders when Sanders was clearly the popular choice- they had to. And its gonna happen again in 2020. "The Democratic National Committee is nearly insolvent, according to the most recent FEC report." https://townhall.com/tipsheet/leahbarkoukis/2018/09/21/dnc-fec-report-n2521215
That's what I appreciate from a french point of view, in the american policy. In France, we can have the same heads for 2, 3 and some even managed to do 4 or 5 elections. But in USA, the faces tended to change. I hope you won't get the same faces always, it's really a poor things. Even if in USA too, politician seems to have difficulties to leave the political life.
Oh boy, here comes Hillary Clinton. She's my gal, or should I say "I'm with her"? Nothing against Obama, but that election, between Obama vs Hillary, after it was over it caused me to change my party from Independent to Democrat. I wanted to have a say in the primary election. Now I vote straight Democrat. And if Hillary Clinton runs again she has my vote. I worry a little about her health, between her constant slipping and coughing up gobduals of mucus, but if she had won last time, then this would be her run for a second term. So, it's not like she is too old to run.
