Yes, and the will of the majority of the people of the United States of America who voted has been denied, again.

So yes, that is a sour grape.

So you're saying that a majority of the vote equals mob rule?

Then we have Donald as president thanks to the mob.

I suppose your position makes sense if you're not in favor of a majority vote rule system.

That is why have the EC to avoid mob rule.

Democracy can be as bad as any tyrant.

So a majority of the vote is "mob rule"?

Then Donald is president by the mob.

Ie: Historically Pennsylvania is a blue State, Donald winning Pennsylvania is the first Republican to win since Ronald Reagan. That's a 'steal'. It's normally a sports phrase.

Wrong contradiction he cannot be supported by a mob is the popular vote went against him or were you wrong about that?

    - - - Updated - - -

It is normally a criminal phrase.

Tradition means nothing people CAN do the unexpected.

Yes I prefer a Republic, not mob rule democracy. The founders set up the country this way.

If Trump had won the popular vote and Hillary the electoral College would you be talking about majority rule today ? Rhetorical question of course

No, he won a majority vote in enough states to give him the electoral college.

Donald is the mob president by your definition.

But your fine with the mob rule deciding the electoral college for each state.

    No double standard there.

I would be saying Clinton is president under the system we have but it is a system that does not reflect the will of the majority of the American people and should be changed.

Donald and his supporters would be going apoplectic foaming about the "rigged system" of course.

Wrong it is yours and you are contradicting yourself.

By definition winning the EC is not the popular vote nor mob rule.

Direct popular vote is no matter how much you twist and pervert logic to make an idiotic argument to the contrary.

Clearly a cognitive breakdown on your part

No it has worked well for over 2 centuries and withstood over 200 attempts to change.

It certainly worked well for the nation this time and we dodged a bullet

If Hillary had won the electoral college and Donald Trump the popular vote, They would be on here thanking the electoral college

    - - - Updated - - -

No Irie, You wouldn't be saying the system would need to be changed if Hillary had won.

    No, you're contradicting yourself.

You claim that you're against the majority vote because it's "mob rule".

But Donald won the electoral college by wining the popular vote in states like Florida, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

By your own logic, Donald is the mob rule president.

I question how well it is working when it has denied the majority of the American people their voice in two out of the last 5 presidential elections.

So we agree it should be fixed. Sure. But let's not make it out that Donald didn't win this election. He did. He won several of the battleground States that Romney could not.

No sir you are proven wrong it is your logic that says mob rule is best and that is not defined by winning the EC but strictly by winning the popular vote so no matter how idiotically contradicting your argument is you have painted yourself into the stupid corner and have proven yourself wrong

Very true it is just sore loser syndrome

    That was accurate truth

This is not an Ochlocracy we have a Republic. You just don’t get it. The Mob, was required to exceed a 60% threshold:

“Just two years after the state rejected a similar measure, a vast majority of Florida voters cast ballots in favor of Amendment 2, according to an early count posted by Florida's Secretary of State, exceeding the 60 percent threshold needed to approve the legislation and insert an amendment into the state constitution that would allow people with cancer, epilepsy, and other serious conditions to use the substance if their doctor recommends it.” http://www.nbcnews.com/card/florida-oks-medical-marijuana-nine-states-vote-pot-n680866

The fact we had to exceed 60% proves it is not mob rule or simply democratic rule by vote of the people.

And yet, Clinton-Trump look a lot closer than that. So can we really say that it was nefarious?

This does not bode well for us at all.

Anybody remember the last time a president lost the popular vote but won the electoral college.

You should, you're still talking about the fallout from it.
