With everyone nitpicking at the Mueller probe, I feel the need to draw people's attention to things that I feel we are being distracted from. I have cautioned against jumping to conclusions where the probe is concerned. I still say there are many uncertainties about where the investigation will lead, if anywhere. With that said, I finally see a case forming. What's more, I'm amazed at how little is being said about it.

I feel compelled to lay the case out more forcefully than I otherwise would, simply because I can see emotion and propaganda distorting the facts of this investigation. I don't know anything for certain. However, if nothing else, the evidence clearly justifies the continuation of the Mueller probe. I recently brought this up on another thread, but I feel it deserves its own discussion.

Many of us heard recently that Trump's lawyer, Cohen, received a sizable payment from a Russian oligarch named Vekselberg. If you're like me, this initially meant nothing. Other than the fact that his name obviously isn't Russian (His father was a Ukrainian Jew), this news was mostly lost on me.

One thing that I did take notice of back in February was a video posted by Navalny. It showed Deripaska and the Russian Deputy PM Prikhodko talking about U.S.-Russian relations on a yacht. Navalny claimed that Deripaska acted as a middleman between the Russian Deputy PM Prikhodko and Paul Manafort during the US elections. One of the prostitutes on the boat claims to have hours of recordings of the conversations that took place, and she says that they involved plans for the U.S. elections. She also claims to have heard the voices of fluent English speakers.

    https://qz.com/1202800/alexey-naval...nformation-from-paul-manafort-to-the-kremlin/

It seemed iffy at the time. Navalny is obviously an anti-establishment figure, and the prostitute might well have motivations to lie. At the same time though, the Russian government went through a surprising amount of trouble to ban this video. They even added it to the Federal List of Extremist materials, which are effectively banned in Russia.

Still, I kind of shrugged it off. That was all before the Vekselberg bombshell. (Which I now recognize as a bombshell.) Vekselberg is a close business associate of Deripaska's. In fact, back in February, around when the video was surfacing, he was acquiring more shares in the aluminum company Rusal, which is owned by Deripaska. Vekselberg now has 26.5 percent, whereas Deripaska owns 48 percent.

    https://slate.com/news-and-politics...ussia-payment-might-help-prove-collusion.html

People will continue to lob attacks at Mueller. For all I know, he did commit crimes of some sort or another. But don't let it distract from the fact that the longer this investigation goes, the more things seem to coalesce. We have already seen that Manafort had undisclosed payments for his work in Ukraine for pro-Russian politicians. We've heard Comey's testimony about Trump's eyebrow-raising comments (Putin says Russia has the most beautiful prostitutes!). We've seen the softening of sanctions on Russia.

The longer this investigation goes on (so far) the more justified it appears. This is why it must continue.

I still laugh at the peelievers and the fact that they literally believe Hillary was going to win in a landslide, but a handful of Russian trolls making 3500 facebook ads caused her to lose.

They also believe Kim Jung un is using trump to get to stormy Daniels. They eat up Russian propaganda and willingly parrot it to harm our democracy.

I too long to see the results of the investigation. I have a feeling they will come out just before or immediately after the midterms.

The charges include conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud, and aggravated identity theft.

What other crimes do you think Russians should be allowed to commit? Murder? Rape?

The Russians should just hire people who are in America illegally to do their bidding. They get a pass for breaking all those laws.

I still think its funny how the peelievers literally think Hillary lost because of 3500 facebook ads out of the zillion ads on facebook.

Mueller now has a possible illegal connection to Deripaska and the FBI approached him and asked him about the Russia collusion story but he is not mentioned in any of Mueller's work so the question is why?

While at the same time the Democratic Party insists there be NO investigation into possible misconduct by the Democratic Party, the Clintons, Clinton and Obama operatives, the FBI or the DOJ. Rather, they demand that 14 radically partisan Democrats ONLY investigate ONLY Trump and people associated with President Trump.

For that reason, I do not see the OP message or the concepts behind it as anything but partisan motivated and not for the purpose of seeking the truth. There should either be across-the-board investigation, meaning NOT just by Mueller covering his and the FBI's ass and his 14 Democrat lawyer hacks - or NO investigation.

That doesn’t even get into the dnc hacking crimes, hacking into voter roles etc

Maybe Putin will hire illegal immigrants to do his dirty work. Democrats give them a pass on all those crime. They even aid and abet them to commit these crimes. See it everyday.

If the dnc wasn't corrupt as the day is long, no hack would matter.

    Obviously Obama lied to you.

    :roflol:You should hold him accountable

And all of it may very well be thrown out by Friday. Tick..tick....

Meanwhile, we now know Mueller FAILED to disclose his previous relationship with one of the CENTRAL FIGURES in his indictments against Manafort....who also looks like he was involved in the dossier, as well....

You’re right, there’s no harm in exposing things if nobody is doing anything wrong. So happy you’re now so supportive of Muellers work and the wiretaps on trumpists lol

I just want him to catch criminals. If the president isn’t one, then he shouldn’t have anything to worry about.

The FBI is actually quite a large organization. They work with a ot of people. Should Mueller have to disclose everything that the FBI ever did under him with the people under investigation? No matter how unrelated?

I don’t know the legal implications of the dirt they’re trying to dig up, but that’s what they’re doing. And let’s be clear, this is not some deep personal relationship with Deripaska. We’re not talking about money being deposited in Mueller’s bank account. This is not comparable to the Cohen situation.
