I'm sure he does see it. One can see what one wants to see. Just think, if he hadn't been black, Colin Power could have amounted to something. He was held down by "the man". Lord knows, it just isn't fair. Of course, aside from seeing what you want to see, and not seeing what you don't want to see, you have to add to that the outright lies or fantasies. How many people believe that President Obama came out of a high-class restaurant wearing his high-class suit and had someone hand him car keys thinking he was valet parking? Not me. I seriously doubt Barack Obama's fancy suit had a waist-length scarlet jacket. Not only do people see what they want to see but they love stories and demagogues that match their bigotry.
