Aaaah well, the Royal visit is almost at an end....and it only cost us about 20 million....maybe with inflation, the next trip will tap out at about 30 million...which makes me think who will be the lucky punters to come on down next time...?? Chances are it will be "jug-ears" and his "house-haunter" partner, Camilla Parker-Bowles....thats if they can fit a truckload of her ugly pills in the plane...Gaawwd shes a good sort, isnt she...how would you be waking up next to her....you'd roll over quick, wouldnt ya... Camilla:I say, Chawles, be a dear and pass me my ugly pills... Charlie: Oh my gawd...I thought they were M and Ms.... Camilla: No sweet cheeks, I feed them to the corgis.... Aaah well, gotta go now and watch the next episode of Miniscule... I quite enjoy the episodes about dung beatles....they remind me of the Labor Party...
I wonder how much Obama's visit is going to cost - I bet it will be a lot more then the Royals. I can't imagine him coming here has any purpose which isn't achieved by KRudd, Juliar and staff who've already visited him a few times... so its an equivilant comparison.

Im quite at ease with the monarchy, if all we get is the occasional royal visit which most could care less about then its a small price to pay for the system of government we have which has proven to be vastly superior to the corrupt American model of democracy.
He, the self-declared 'Pacific President', will only be here for 2 days, one day in Canberra to address parliament, then a stopover in Darwin on his way to Bali for the East Asia Summit. Seems to me from the WikiLeaks revelations and his whining and threats to go the WTO when we refused to allow beef imports, that he doesn't think much of Australia. He visited Japan, Korea, China, Indonesia and snubbed us who are right next door, 1/4 inch away on the map. Seems to me that the Pentagon/'Washington' is sending him here ...60th anniversary of the ANZUS treaty. I could be wrong, but it sure looks to me, the way he attacks Arizona and its new immigration reforms, saying 'racist', that he doesn't like White people all that much either.
