Many folks have always wondered what these 28 pages talked about.

Most understood that they discussed possible Saudi relationships with the hijackers.

now we know this was true

I thought you were referring to a document that wasn't blacked out all over the place.

You never even read it and I'm not shocked.

Well, now we know why there were classified by the Bush Admin. This would have told America that it was not Iraq or anyone but the Saudis, in so far as a nation that perhaps aided the attackers. And of course this doesn't help out some of the conspiracy theorists, so they of course reject it, even when it is there in those documents that were classified.

Of course we already knew what was probably in those pages, a connection with the Saudis, which would have been embarrassing for the Bush family since they have ties with them going back to George Herbert Walker.

So let the litigation begin, against the Saudis by the victims who lost family members in this attack. Of course the Saudis do not want to pay them any money, so they will blame it on others.

The Saudis are not our friends, but are friends of some of our rich elites, who make money together. And their ties with the 911 attackers could not be told to America after the attacks, For we would have objected in blaming Iraq for what the Saudis did.

Of course is you want to think Bush was a part of this conspiracy, you can still think that, and the Saudis were helping him out. They even hold hands in public. Or so photos tell us.

Bush was despertely trying to protect his Saudi allies from an American backlash.

has these pages come out back in 2004, the American people would have rightfully demanded further invedtigations and a rethinking of our relationship with the Saudis

Wasn't Bush the one who said that we'd make no distinction between the terrorists and those who harbor them? And if he was protecting the Saudis, wouldn't that mean we're harboring terrorists?

I think the three Saudi Princes who ended up dead within a few days of each other was a demonstration that they were not harboring terrorists.

Normally wouldn't be one to defend the Saudis....but, they show no such thing. They show vague "connections" between individuals in Saudi government and hijackers and don't see anything to support the claim that anything was "official". I suspect there is a small element in both the Saudi Royal family and Saudi government that are fans of Al Qaeda that are in conflict with the rest of the royal family and government. An internal conflict that has always existed.

One died in a car crash on the way to a funeral..

One died of a heart attack. Lots of heart disease among the descendants of Ibn Saud.

I can't recall what the other died of, but I think he had been in the hospital for some weeks.

Not at all .. Re read it carefully.

For those saying that the Saudi government had nothing to do with it and that it was just a couple bad apples; how do you know? Does this information not warrent further investigation? Does it not seem suspicious?

What's interesting about the newly released 28 pages is that if Congress approves the JASTA bill, the 9/11 families' lawsuit vs the Saudis will be allowed to continue. That means that during the discovery phase of the lawsuit, many other 9/11 issues will be unveiled and exposed to additional scrutiny. And Bush is no longer in a position to obstruct justice to protect his criminal partners.
