    Top phone, Samsung S4
Top small tablet, Samsung Galaxy note 8 (just edging out iPad mini)
Top full tablet, Samsung Galaxy 10

iPhone falling behind to 5th place... even behind Blackberry. Solid product, just nothing new or innovative like the top spots.

I just got the S4 about a week ago. Amazing phone. It's very fast, and the screen is insane. It's not the first phone to pack a 1080p resolution into such a small space, which makes everything look so crisp and detailed, but the blacks and colors on the AMOLED panel look incredible.

I certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a new phone in the near future. In my opinion, the only possible contender with the S4 right now is the HTC One. There are lots of comparison articles on the web if you're interested in more details, but after playing with both, I think I'd give the edge to the S4.

Interesting, I've been very happy with my iPhone 3, but I'm getting phone envy.

I've been told that you no longer have to rout all your e-mail through Google Mail anymore, like you did with the early Droids.

    Is that so?

This is true. The Android OS comes with two email apps - one specifically for Gmail accounts, and the other can be set up for any POP3/IMAP/Exchange account.

    Cool!

I had two Droids in the first year they came out. I hated them both, and wound up going to the iPhone, which works seamlessly and has been the most reliable smart phone I've ever had. I don't mind the small screen, but the 3G network is old school now.

Apple does have one advantage that probably doesn't show up much in the reviews. When you have a question or a problem, you're not stuck asking the knuckleheads at Verizon, whose response to every questions seems to be "you're eligible for an upgrade!". At the Apple store, you can make a real appointment, someone will answer your questions, fix your problem, and you walk out the door free of charge. You ususally learn something new about your phone while you're there too!

That never happens at the Verizon store.

I've got a Galaxy Note II and I luv it. Now if Tapatalk and ForumRunner would get their acts together, I'd be a happy camper!

I'm interested to hear anyone's experiences.

I'm somewhat wary of published reviews. They tend to be written by people who either are primarily interested in play, or sit at desks all day.

I need a phone and a tablet that is functions for work on the road.

I've frequenty read rave reviews for devices that make no sense for anyone who works out of their car or in a mobile office setting.
