I guess I must be heartless, because I don't recognize the "need". NYC probably needs to cut some services and fire some city employees. It's belt-tightening time everywhere.

I would like to know how much help they've already received vs the rest of the country. I'm all for helping but it's not endless, NY and them keeping the subway open without sanitization has cost America a ton.

 

He has also refused to bail out the USPS which is currently reporting hundreds of mailmen infected with Covid 19.Yet the stimulus bill with legislation snuck in by the GOP will give 43,000 MILLIONAIRES tax breaks amounting to an average of $1.6 MILLION EACH!!!!!

The postal service has 600,000 employees. While it sucks that some of the employees got COVID hundreds isn't really even a drop in the bucket but it sounds pretty dramatic. As for your other statement, take a

Let's do the math on that. That totals 68,800,000,000 (or 68.8 billion dollars) just to billionaires. The the cost of the whole bill is 2.2 trillion. So you are talking about almost a third of the whole package being snuck into the pockets of millionaires. How did Schumer not know? How did Pelosi not know? They voted for it. Now pretend I am a millionaire. Where do you even get this stuff? Where is my check for 1.3 million dollars? I could be more than twice as rich.
