The Mayor of Ottawa has just declared a state of emergency in the city because of the violence perpetrated by the protesters.

GoFundMe will refund the $10 million it raised for the truckers because, and I quote, 'it doesn't endorse violent illegal acts'.

The police arrested 7 truckers and distributed 450 statements of offence.

Something to be proud of...

 

The violence is being directed overwhelmingly at the Truckers by crazy leftiests. They even tried to run them over.

You guys encouraged, supported, and sponsored riots and terrorism around the United States starting in the Summer of 2020, but we can go back as far as the 2016 campaign trail. There are thousands and thousands of videos of Democrats blocking streets, falsely imprisoning the occupants by surrounding cars, and assaulting them by shouting threats and banging on the vehicle. You caused these displays disobedience in Oceania, Europe and North America. You normalized violence and riots. This is on you, and your party. You are the ones that set the precedent. When BLM rioters were destroying businesses in New York without masks in mid 2020, the Democrats did nothing to stop it in their cities and states. Instead, they arrested the Hassidic Jews for praying (first amendment rights). The Democrats were ecstatic about the Mayors antisemetic act.

 

I remember when non-alt-right groups were blocking roads and Republicans passed laws to allow people to run them over legally.

Odd how it is now standing for liberty to block roads.

The mayor did not declare a state of emergency because there was a car that ran into a truck.

It's because truckers are crippling economic activity.

But I'm not worried about that, the army will come in and they'll take care of it.

In three days, no one will ever talk about this stupid story again.

 

Personally, I would have left the truckers there as long as they wanted.

Stuck in the streets, without gas and at -20 degrees, each of them would have had to call for a tow truck to get out of the downtown area.

I can't imagine the cost....

If that happens the truckers should refuse to transport any food or goods to that city for several weeks….

 

If that happens, they won't get paid.

Business owners will hire other truckers to replace them and some will lose their jobs permanently.

They will finally be free.

 

What if they can’t find truckers willing to deliver?

 

Because you think that 100% of truckers support this event?

No.

No one is irreplaceable.

 

We are talking about an entire city. Yes, you’ll always find some who will work, but if a significant number of drivers refuse to, then even a food shortage becomes a real possibility.
