We don't have a gun problem. We have a mental health problem. These people: Adam Lanza James Holmes Jacob Tyler Min Yingjun ....all of them are/were mentally ill. And another thing...."gun free zone". Great, just great. Then criminals and crazies KNOW the people inside are defenseless. We need to have a national dialogue and a plan to deal with criminals and mental illness. Remember, Adam Lanza was refused an attempt to purchase a gun at Dick's Sporting Goods a few days before he shot his mother, stole her guns, and murdered 26 people. When these crazies go off, there's always one or more people who said they were a ticking time bomb; people who knew they were unsound. Often these people brag or tell of what they're about to do. If we let the dems use this situation to further curtail the Liberty of decent, law-abiding people, we're all less safe - literally. Obama wants an excuse for more gun control and he loves control. Say NO. Address the mental health issue. We have the right under the Constitution to protect ourselves and each other.
