Now, I think it is clear that I am not a Joe Biden fan, but I do believe in being fair.

Joe Biden was being blasted for running negative ads after the President and First Lady tested positive for COVID-19. In response, Biden started taking down negative ads. Yet that pissed of Congresswoman illham Omar who shames Biden with the statement "Get it Together". Do we need any more proof that Omar should not be in Congress? No one should be attacking the President for getting sick. I guess that is how things are done in Somalia. Maybe she should just go home. I am sure that the citizens of Somalia would love to have someone as famous as Omar lead them.

At this point, with the hyper-partisan environment we live in, being honest about anything is preferable to more fake 'caring'. Lets face it, Hater Omar represents more of the DNC than Biden does. Her single moment of honesty is more valuable than Biden pretending he cares about Trump's health...

LOL, I never thought I'd agree with Omar, but I guess I do here. As a Trump supporter, I feel qualified to suppose that Trump would likely not relent from Joe bashing if Joe had the china plague, and I don't think Joe gains anything by pulling his ads. He should be blasting Trump for not wearing his face diaper and fearmongering us about how deadly the chinese plague must be if even the most protected man in the nation could get it in support of his desire to get elected and authoritatively shut the country down.

From my strategic perspective, of course. Fortunately Im sure the Biden campaign isn't interested in my opinion ;)

So it wasn't Bidens idea to pull the ads. No surprise, it's not his campaign.

I was totally agreeing with you until the "maybe she should just go home" statement. She is an American citizen and her home is here.

You don't live in Omar's district, so why do you care? I wouldn't vote for her.
Trump's COVID-19 behavior has been reckless. He took too many chances.

His little run outside the hospital endangered the two agents with him in the car.
This is really pathetic.

Your right. She is a nationalized American Citizen. But my point was not that she should be deported. My statement is that she should return to the country that she is from to lead efforts to clean that country up. I have been to Somalia, and I know first hand what that country is like. Since she does not understand that you do not attack people that are sick, then she might feel more comfortable in the country where she was born.

You are a Trump supporter? Yet you make assumptions about what the President would be if the roles were reversed. You can not know what the President would have done if it had been Biden infected instead of himself.

Biden will not attack the President for not having worn a mask because of several reasons:

First is that there are still a large number of people that believes in the false statements made by the WHO, CDC and Dr. Fauci. They claimed that the only ones that should wear a mask are those that are sick and those treating the sick. So, to attack the President for not wearing a mask would be to alienate those potential voters. There is still some question about the effectiveness of masks to stop the spread of COVID-19. Here is an interesting article on that subject:
https://wsau.com/2020/07/31/masks-dont-stop-viruses-the-proof/

The President is one of those that fell for the false narrative from the WHO, CDC and Dr. Fauci.

The President was wearing a mask in public at the time he was infected. If the above link is factual, then it is very possible that Hope Hicks and President Trump were wearing masks at the time the President was infected. The main purpose for wearing a mask is to protect others from you. There is data that supports the claim that masks protect the wearer, but that data is far from conclusive. The article claims that masks do not stop the spread of the virus. Infected droplets could still escape the mask. The masks just lowers the distance that the droplets can travel. That is why social distancing is necessary.

The final reason is that if Biden attacks the President for not wearing a mask, the President could attack Biden for being germophobic. Do you really want a President that hides in the basement while the country suffers? I wouldn't.

I care because she is an elected official who believes in kicking a man when he is down. The former-VP was acting on pressure leveled at him from both sides of the aisle. You see, normal people do not attack people when they are down. (Except in the MMA that is.) Why is that when a GOP member of Congress says something stupid, no one limits the response to those in their Congressional district? But when a DNC member of Congress says something stupid, you want to limit the responses. Hypocrisy at it's best.

You mean not hiding is a basement and ignoring what is happening in this country? As I have stated many times, the President was acting on the advice of the WHO, CDC and Dr. Fauci. But if you want to talk about taking chances, we can. Biden, before he fled to his basement, held rallies after President Trump cancelled his public rallies in March. Both candidates held rallies on March 2. President Trump's rally was in Charlotte, NC, and Biden held his in Houston, TX. Trump the cancelled the rest of his rallies, and Biden held 7 more. Biden held rallies for 8 more days after the President cancelled his. Remember, Biden has said that he knew that the virus was going to be bad in the US back in January. Yet he still held rallies for two more months. So, who was taking the chances.

I agree with you that the President should not have taken that trip, but I doubt that the two agents were put at any risk. They were both wearing masks and seated away from each other in the vehicle. So, there was little to no risk.

Again, I was not calling for Omar to be deported, or forced out of office. I was merely pointing out that she might feel more comfortable in the country of her birth. She obviously does not understand that you do not kick a man when he is down. Heck, she doesn't even know that this country does not allow a woman to marry her brother so that he can enter this country fraudulently. I also pointed out that Somalia could use someone like her to lead them, and end the civil war that has been raging since 1988. I would actually support Omar for President.....of Somalia.

Don't worry Omar, Biden didn't really pull his ads. They did do a press release claiming they did, but they didn't. The #FakeNews will repeat the lie without bother to check out Facebook which still has Joe Biden's negative ads. But Facebook did pull 240 if President Trump's ads claiming they were racist and/or had false information according to the liberal fact check websites.

Actually they are:

"I guess that is how things are done in Somalia. Maybe she should just go home. I am sure that the citizens of Somalia would love to have someone as famous as Omar lead them."

and

"I was merely pointing out that she might feel more comfortable in the country of her birth.

(Emphasis added by you)

Omar does/says things that might be acceptable in Somalia, but are clearly not acceptable here. Such as kicking the President while he is down, issuing anti-semantic statements, and marrying her brother so he can enter this country. Since she prefers to act in this manner, she should go back to where those actions would be acceptable. If she were to be held to the same standards that other are held to, you actually believe that she would feel comfortable? Obviously not. If she were to comfortable with normal standards, then she would not be opening her mouth so often.

I have pointed out that Somalia, which has been fighting a civil war since 1988, needs someone like her that the people can rally around. But instead, she follows the example made by her coward father. Omar's father Nu Omar Mohamed was a Colonel in the Somalian Army. Yet, when the going got tough, he deserted, tucked tail and ran. This was about a year before Said Barre's government fell.

The first statement "Maybe she should go home" implies that she is not in her home. It's irrelevant if she likes it here or not. It is her home.

And, what do you mean by "If she were to comfortable with normal standards, then she would not be opening her mouth so often." Do you feel that way about ALL people that voice opinions you don't agree with?

Home could be where you hang your hat, or where you were born. I currently hang my hat here in Virginia, and I say, I am going home when I depart from work. But home is also where I was born. I was born in Atlanta, GA, and it is home to me also. In Omar's case, home could be where she lives in DC, it could be her home district and it could be the place of her birth. Since I was writing about Somalia and Omar, then home is the place of her birth.

Every person has a First Amendment Right to say what they want within reason. Kicking the President while he is sick, is a complete lack of decorum. And is behavior that the majority of Americans agree is unacceptable. I am sure that you will be surprised to learn that the same amendment allows me to suggest that Omar should go home and clean up the country that she was originally from.

I don't think Biden was being criticized by for negative ads by anyone who matters. He was taking down the ads to avoid possible negative reaction to the ads by voters.
Check. It's why the Biden Campaign took down the ads.
GOP CongressCritters make a lot of stupid comments not widely reported. Same for Democrats and that includes Omar, a non-player in party. Republicans are the ones playing up her comments.

Omar is no doubt trying to be relevant. Once a party has a candidate and/or a President, that person speaks for party and the importance of outliers like Omar is diminished. The only way they get much attention is to criticize the leader or by saying something outrageous.
No, I mean holding events where masks aren't worn and people are crowded together for long periods of time. The Rose Garden event for Amy Coney Barrett is a case-in-point.
No, he isn't.
You're wearing out the "basement" BS.
Unless their N95 masks were fitted, there could be significant risk.
Oh, puh-leeze. I didn't just fall off the turnip truck. She came to the United States as a small child.
Biden wasn't "down" when she held forth.
You're stepping in it with this BS about Somalia.

So, anyone that disagrees with you doesn't matter? Biden's campaign had numerous people express outrage at Biden continuing attack adds the President while he is sick. Their personal opinion are just as important as your own. Further, they are protected by the First Amendment. Just as you questionable statements are.

Playing both sides of the issue? Biden took down the adds because normal people do not attack someone when they are down, and those that complained about the negative adds do not matter. Talk about being hypocritical.

"GOP CongressCriters"? Weak minded response! Omar is not a player in the DNC? Strange that Pelosi has backtracked her positions based on the Squad's opinions. That sounds like being a player in the DNC to me.

Of course, the GOP is playing this up. You have a member of Congress making idiotic statements. The GOP is well within their rights to point out the her stupid statements.

I am glad that you agree that her statements are outrageous. Maybe there is hope for you yet. But again, the Omar and the Squad are relevant in the DNC. If you don't think so, then you are not paying attention. The DNC has ignored the statement. So, yes they are playing it down, but if they thought there was a problem with the statement, they would distance themselves from it. By ignoring it, only lends support. Contrary to you stated opinion, the DNC and GOP are responsible for reacting to idiotic statements within their ranks. Just like they did when Omar made anti-semantic statements. Of course those statements caused dissention within their own ranks.

If those attending the President's announcement about Amy Coney Barrett did not practice social distancing, or wear masks, then that is their fault, and not the President's. Everyone is responsible for making the decision for themselves. If you believe that holding an outdoor briefing, where people are free to social distance and leaving the decision of whether to wear masks up to the individuals, then where is you outrage of the violent protests that are still raging throughout the country? Where is you outrage at Biden decision to restart holding rallies? It only seems to matter to you if it is the President holding these events.

Isn't or wasn't? In recent appearances, President Trump has worn a mask. Further, he was acting on the advise of the from the CDC, WHO and Dr. Fauci. They have all stated that masks should be reserved for those that are sick or those treating the sick. They did not change those statements until recently. So, the President was clearly following the advice of these so-called experts, If you disagree, provide proof.

Again, just because you disagree, does not mean that I am wearing it out. The former VP, was hiding in his basement. It is not my fault that he is obviously a germophobic. We do not need a President that hides when the country needs him the most. Not hiding from the same risks that others are being subjected to.

If their N95 masks are "fitted", they are taking? Sound like you have no idea what masks do. If they are properly fitted and worn, then they have a lower risk of being infected. Not a greater risk.

Who cares if she was a small child when she came to this country? That does not change her country of birth. Nor does it lessen the impact of having been raised from a cowardly deserting father. As I pointed out, her father was a Colonel in Siad Barre's army. He deserted his post, and fled the country, a year before Siad Barre was deposed. Maybe if cowards like him had not deserted that Siad Barre may have remained in power, and the country would not be the sh*thole it is today.

I said: She obviously does not understand that you do not kick a man when he is down.

And you said, WHAT? That does not even come close to making sense. I was obviously stating that Omar wanted Biden to attack President Trump while he is sick. I never said anything about Biden being down. (Unless you count being down in the basement.) I should not have to explain things to you in triplicate.

When were you in Somalia? I was flown from Desert Storm to Somalia in March of 1992. I was needed there to provide in country logistics for the 13th MEU. Because of my shooting skills, I was also tasked with manning a 50 Cal on the convoys taking food out to the bush where the people were starving. This was in spite of warehouses filled with food at the Mogadishu. Every night we would return to Mogadishu and eat steak and lobster.

Now, if you have not been in Somalia, then maybe you should listen to those that have been there. Either way, I do not give a rat's rear end for what you do or do not believe about my time in the Marines. I do not have to prove anything to likes of you. I have a really good idea. Why not take a trip to Somalia to see things first hand? Or are you too scared?

The bottom line here is that Joe doesn't want the blowback.
Red Herring Alert!
Pelosi made it clear to the Squad they don't call the shots.
You'd better get the Orange Oaf talking to average folks or he's going to lose. They want to know what he's going to do about the economy and virus.
Democrats may indeed go back to fighting amongst themselves, but right now all the want to do is get rid of Trump. I'm pretty convinced they want Trump out more than you want him in.
Oh, please.

7E7E5B0C-4D21-4444-B94D-9F7671A15EDE.jpeg
I started a thread months ago to the contrary.
Fauchi was talking about surgical masks and N95 respirators. Anyway, masks do cut transmission and fitted N95 masks protect the wearer.
I've done that in other posts. Providing you with the proof is a waste of time.
What are you talking about? I've been saying N95 respirators reduce transmission.
Irrelevant nonsense. She is an American.
I wouldn't vote for her.
So, we agree she wanted Biden to use negative ads, like Trump is doing. But Trump is sick, Biden is not.
This is relevant to what? I travel the world when there's no virus. But why would I go anywhere now? I rather doubt I would be interested in going to Somalia, anyway.

In other words, someone that matters did complain about adds. Otherwise he would not have suspended them.

Typical liberal tactic! Ignore the facts in favor of false narrative. You said that those that complained about Biden's attack adds didn't matter. Now, you claim that it is a Red Herring. Then I have to ask, why are spreading red herrings.

That may be her position now, but it has not always been her policy. Remember when Omar was making anti-semantic statements, and the DNC refuse to call her out on it? They issued a statement about racism and anti-semantic statements without calling out Omar personally.

President has taken many steps to aid the economy, and he is doing all that can do about finding a cure for the virus. The DNC's false narrative that the President can create the cure himself, or that a vaccine can be created overnight is completely ludicrous.

You want to talk about who is refusing to take action on the economy? Look no further then crazy Nancy. She is stonewalling the new stimulus bill in order to include bailing out the blue states and cities. This includes New York and Chicago's ridiculous pension funds. Pelosi is now scrambling to get a bill passed otherwise it will hurt the Democrats in the upcoming elections.

I have to agree with part of that statement. The DNC have been trying to staging a coup every since the President was elected in accordance with the US Constitution. The President won more states then Hillary did, and they can't stand that fact. The latest attempt is Pelosi attempting to use the 25th Amendment to remove the President. The fact that the President has not shown any sign of being unable to do his job does not seem to matter to the DNC. They will use any tactic to remove the President.

Another comment where you ignore the facts in favor of the DNC talking points. The fact is that there is no no national mask mandate, or a mandate on social distancing. That is because neither the President, or the Congress can not issue one because of the 10th Amendment of the US Constitution forbids it. That means that it is the responsibility wear masks and practice social distancing. 35 states have issued mask mandates, only a few states actually enforce them. Here in Virginia, the governor issues a mask mandate, but stated that the state's legislature would have to pass a law making the mandate enforceable. So far, the legislature has not taken up the issue. I can tell you that a large portion of the population refuses to wear masks, or practice social distancing. I have even been threatened for asking someone to back up, and not stand so close to me. One guy even waited for me outside the store. He made a serious mistake on his part.

Which part? Leaving the decision to social distance and wearing a mask is up to the individual, a stated outrage of protesters not wearing masks or social distancing, or that Biden restarted his campaign appearances.

Yesterday, I saw a Biden Campaign commercial. It was talking about Biden's actions in relation on COVID-19. In one segment, it said that Biden was getting briefed on the virus, but it showed him not wearing a mask, or social distancing. Other segments showed the same thing. Remember that Biden

Really? Please provide me a source of that statement. Every article I have read never included N95 and Surgical masks. Fauci even admitted that the fed was mislead about wearing masks. What was the WHO and CDC talking about? They also claimed that masks should be reserved for the sick, and those that treating the sick.

The website search engine, it only has one post where you claim that the President ignored the advise of medical experts, but you did not include any sources for that claim. So, try that again. Just because you make a claim, it does not mean it is true.

Ignoring facts again. She may be a citizen now, but that does not lessen the impact that he coward father had on her life. To claim otherwise, is to ignore facts. Do you deny that he father was a coward?

Now, that is an irrelevant nonsense. You wouldn't vote for her, but you defend her statement to Biden.

There is a difference between negative adds and attack adds. I have not seen a single attack add from the President. Yet, I have seen many attack adds from the Biden. The President's campaign has posted statements about Biden's positions, but Biden adds actually resorts to insulting the President.

You posted that I was "stepping in it with this BS about Somalia."

I have been to Somalia, and know first hand what it is like there. How many US lives were lost over there? My statements are relevant because Omar has insisted on issuing anti-semantic statements, and attacking the US actions. She consistently displays the mindset of those in Somalia. That includes attacking the President while he is suffering from COVID-19. As such, she should not hold an elected position.

No, I didn't. You're perpetrating a fraud. They don't matter in terms of influencing Biden who survived all these years by having good political sense.
He isn't doing enough to support the unemployed. The Fed Chairman says so.
Democrats aren't saying "a vaccine can be created overnight." Your claim is what's ludicrous.
$1t is not nearly enough to make up for the reduced consumer and business demand. Republicans are almost guaranteeing a lengthy recession even if we get an effective vaccine.
You just keep repeating Trump propaganda.
Absurd propaganda.
More propaganda. You must have heard this nonsense on Fox News or AM radio.
They're only trying to bring home the idea he's acting unhinged, and mess up Trump's message in the news cycle.
You should take note.

British Columbia (5.1m people) mandates masks for public transit and high school students in the hallways and other common areas. That's about it. The public health officer just yesterday nixed any thought of a mask mandate from her office. This is the situation in BC...

If BC had 331m people, they would have about 15,000 dead from COVID-19.
My wife and I have N95 respirators for when we can't distance.

Why isn't the government forcing 3M and others to license respirator production so that everyone has access to effective personal protection. I don't mind protecting you by wearing a mask, but I'm more interested in protecting myself and my family. I suspect you may be the same.
He has supported rallies to force states to curb mitigation efforts--Michigan is a noteworthy example.
I have no idea about her father. It makes me think back to a student government president I had (I was the staff sponsor) who everyday went home to take care of her nutty mother. Not every kid is led astray by screwed up parent.
That guy is a walking attack machine. Calling Harris a "monster" and a "communist" is a case-in-point.
I never said anything about Somalia, said I wouldn't support her if I lived in her district, and rejected her advice to step up with attack ads while Trump was standing down.

Again, those that complained about Biden's attack adds caused him to suspend the use of the adds. So, they obviously did matter. That means that you are the one perpetuating fraud.

Bidden has good political sense? Another false narrative. Biden was knee deep in General Flynn illegal investigation, and the fake Russian Collusion investigation. He knew that the whole thing came from the Hillary campaign, as an attack on President Trump. He also committed a Quid pro que against Ukraine. His own statements shows that this is true. He knew that his son was working for Burisma Holdings in Ukraine. Yet, he was the point man of Ukraine, and stated that he would withhold $1 billion in funds that the country desperately needed. He leveraged the aid against the President of Ukraine did not fire the Chief Prosecutor that was investigating Burisma Holdings. He is also a degenerate pedophile, and is noted for making demeaning statements against women, and raping one of his employees. None of that demonstrates good political sense.
The Fed Chairman? Give me a break. Fed Chairmen have been against every President since it's founding during the FDR Administration. As far as the President not doing enough to support the unemployed, the only thing he has done that could be considered as negative against the unemployed is to lower the amount of the unemployed was paid. Most of the unemployed were making more on unemployment the they were doing their jobs. During the Obama Administration, they raised the amount that was paid to the unemployed an additional $100 dollars, and extended the amount of time that the unemployed could collect the payments. I was one of those that was unemployed at the time, and I had not problem paying my bills with that amount. He also created funds that would allow companies to pay their employees while the coronavirus had business shut down. Those funds were not included by the Democrats additional stimulus bills. The President has also allowed $1200 in stimulus payments to every adult, and $500 for each child that a family had. An additional round of payments have been held up by Pelosi by pushing for a bailout for Blue states and cities. That bailouts included funding for NYC and Chicago's under funded pensions. Currently, the President is pushing for a new $1.8 trillion stimulus bill, But Pelosi is holding out for her ridiculous $2.2 trillion bill.
Go back and read the transcript of the last debate. Primarily Biden's statement on the creation of the vaccine.

Look at my response above on the efforts that President Trump's to help the economy. But you are ignoring the fact that the $1 trillion number came from the Democrat led Congress. There is nothing that can be done to stop a recession at this point. Throwing money at the problem at this point will be useless. The time to address the issue will be after the economy returns to normal.

It is not propaganda if it is true. Try researching the fact for yourself instead of repeating the MSN and Democrat talking points.

Try researching the facts. The whole impeachment hearing, and fake Russian investigating is examples of the DNC attempting to remove the President

The only one acting unhinged is Crazy Nancy, and her Democrat supporters.

Nothing is that link does not dispute the fact that the Federal Government does not have the Constitution Authority under the 10th Amendment, or the fact that the majority of the states are enforcing their Mask, or social distancing mandate. Try to stay on point.

British Columbia is not in the United States. So, the data is irrelevant.
Good for you, but the current CDC protocols require that masks be used as well as social distancing. With your statement that you and your wife is not social distancing you are putting yourself in jeopardy of catching the Virus. You might be protected against having someone's infected sneezes or cough from entering your nose or mouth, but you are not protected from an unmasked individual from infecting your eyes.

Your right that I wear a mask to protect myself. But I have a 75 year old wife that has COPD and High blood pressure. I also have diabetes. All of these make us more at risk then others. I follow the CDC protocols because I do not want to bring the virus home to my wife. If she were to get the virus, she probably would not survive it. That is something that I will not risk.

As I have already stated that the federal government is forbidden from issuing a mask mandate. That authority is reserved for the states.

Much of efforts Michigan's mitigation the spread of the virus has been ruled unconstitutional by the SCOTUS.

It is not hard to research what he father has done, but Omar's actions shows that her father did lead her astray. Otherwise she would not be making anti-Semitic statements, or denouncing Biden for taking down his attack adds on President Trump.

[
Did he call Harris a communist or a socialist? He has attacked Harris for her pushing for stricter penalties for African American offenders. May of those sentences were commuted by the President's action to provide clemency for these prisoners. But that is not an example of the President attacking Biden.

So, you are claiming that you said that I was stepping in it on statements on Somalia. Further, as I already stated, you do not have to be in her district to have an opinion for her actions. You claim that you have rejected her advice with on Biden removing his attack adds, but you have done nothing but are defending her actions in numerous posts.
I addressed what Biden did in pulling down attack ads and said he seems to have made the change on his own. I did not, as you charged, "ignore the facts in favor of false narrative."
You're promulgating rightwing propaganda as fact. It isn't.
Biden was acting at the direction of the President and with the full knowledge and cooperation of our allies.
You're "facts" are rightwing propaganda.
The Federal Reserve was created when FDR was President? No.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_Reserve
Trump just changed to $1.8t from far less. Even $2t isn't enough to make up for the drop in consumer and business demand.
Your opinion isn't shared by economists.
Did you read the link? I don't think so.

Absolutely ridiculous.
I said we use them when we can't socially distance.
We have goggles we can use.
You don't otherwise talk like you take precautions, but good for you.

Do you have N95 or better respirators? I'd get them for when you have to go out. Make sure they seal well. Eye shields you can get from Home Depot or Amazon are good enough.
I don't think you're right. The Feds have extraordinary powers to quarantine.
By the Michigan Supreme Court.
Omar is a minor player in the Democratic Party. I take her about as seriously as I do Steve King.
Yes, he called Harris a commie--an absurd claim.
What am I supposed to do? They aren't my ads.
An outrageous and false claim.
