But he does so for different reasons than the conservative Senators who oppose the bill. Heller cited several reasons for opposing the bill, but the chief one was its deep reductions in federal support for Medicaid. "This bill will mean a loss of coverage for millions of Americans and many Nevadans," he said. http://www.latimes.com/politics/was...ler-says-he-opposes-1498246791-htmlstory.html When will Trump and the Republicans finally figure out that "repeal and replace" simply has no broad based national appeal; not from conservatives, not from moderates, not from independents, and not from liberals. No one wants this "repeal and replace" turkey except the big-money lobbyists, lawyers, and bureaucrats writing the bill; and of course the "better way" RINOs like Ryan who are trying to impose it on us. Give it up Republicans. You should have learned something from the ObamaCare debacle of eight years ago. Don't make the same mistake yourselves.
The Republicans need to repeal 0bamacare in it's entirety, effective 1/1/2018. That will give the markets time to adjust and Congress can start reform from scratch if needed. Unless they repeal it entirely, we will be stuck with 0bamacare Lite and the Republicans will get the blame.
Republicans are finding that it's much more difficult in the driver's seat than it was to shout directions from the back ... Welcome to the real world, Trump FanBoys.
What sucks is they are going to do the exact same thing Democrats did and jam some weird changes at the last minute to push it through. Mark my words, all of course making it even worse than ever. Good Health Care is about to turn into a cash system, bet on it
Speaking of cramming things in at the last minute... I really, really hope they add a provision to allow funding for states to test out new healthcare systems, ala California.
