I think, by far, the greater concern is the sniveling faction of alienated American pantywaists whose irrational hatred for the American President is blatant.

That the democratically-elected leader of one nation would recognize the democratically-elected leader of another is eminently normal.

Well according to the US government, and the politicians that openly supported him, the old guy was great. They did not care if he killed hundreds of his own people for questioning his authority (and killed US jounralists for reporting it) and rigged elections by threatening death to anyone who did not vote for him.

 

The only reason our government, Democrat and Republican alike(I'll ignore the fact that you're a partisan hack)worked with Mubarrk, was because he kept the peace with Israel. And, the rights of the people of Egypt, be damned.

The "massive scandals" are mostly propaganda generated from the desperate "party of no". Bush was in the 30% range too. You probably just "forgot" to post that I guess. Bush was the laughing stock of the world. People threw shoes at him, people consider him stupid, people realize he's a liar. He's a poor example of an economic leader, a poor example of an "honest" President, and a completely failed example of a human being. He's the worst President since Nixon. Obama is a step up.

The Egyptian military doesn't have enough power to complete a successful coup against the acting ruler. President Obama has refused to call the events of the past few days a coup at all, for the fact that all U.S. aid would be stopped from entering Egypt on the grounds that the United States cannot support a country that has a publicly coined "coup". If you think that Obama has turned his back on Egypt than you have your facts wrong. Also, by claiming that Obama is not "your President", you obviously not a very patriotic person, as even though you may not like our Commander & Chief, saying that he is a socialist liar on no evidence is an ignorant action. How in fact is he a "socialist liar" I may add. If you claim to hate our President, do us all a favor and move out of our country. I am not here to bash any political party, as I feel that having different opinions in politics can be a great thing for this country. Also, even so, I am a Democrat, however, I have not supported many of the policies that Obama supports. But by blurting out incorrect facts about our Presidents support for Egypt is just blatant ignorance.
