    Is there anything stopping states from voting for a candidate which didn't win that state's primary? Like, could North Carolina have voted for Sanders instead of Biden who won that Primary?

    Establishment Dems are all picking on poor little AOC lately, even Pelosi.

    Oddly, Pelosi is backing a young rich white male Progressive over and old rich white male Progressive, but AOC and The Squad wanted the old rich white guy who's been in office 50 years. I guess all young Progressives are supposed to be black, brown, gay and/or female.

    Joe Biden accused of plagiarizing Canadian politician in DNC speech

    Joe Biden is being accused of plagiarizing the words of a left-wing Canadian politician in his convention speech.


    In his highly anticipated convention speech on Thursday, the Democratic nominee said, “Love is more powerful than hate. Hope is more powerful than fear. And light is more powerful than dark.”

    Canadians were quick to point out that those words were extremely similar to the dying message of Jack Layton, the leader of Canada’s New Democratic Party, who in 2011 wrote, “My friends, love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair."

    CBC correspondent Alexander Panetta pointed out the similarities on Twitter.

    Democrats are the epitome of tone deaf. Their entire message for the four nights was "the country will burn to the ground if you don't elect a democrat" and they said this repeatedly while their cities are literally burning to the ground as they stand and watch and approve.

    Yes they knew going in, it has been DECADES since these "conventions" actually "choose" the nominee, actually have floor fights and negotiations and something EXCITING to watch. The entire primary thing is a realitively new thing, since the Democrat 1968 convention, used to be the parties just met and came up with their nominee.....................I wish we would go back to that. We'd would never have had a Trump or an Obama as President. I believe the party officials and active party members should choose THEIR candidate.
