Trump's rhetoric about election fraud may be backfiring. So far this year, Republicans are far behind democrats in requesting absentee ballots. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/09/22/us/politics/absentee-voting-trump.html
Most Republicans I know plan on voting in person, at polling places, like traditional elections. The left has been pushing for mail in so people don't have to leave mom's basement. I'm not surprised.
Some of us left mom's and dad's basements ages ago. We are just high risk and/or not willing to get into random disagreements and ridiculous brawls with angst up youth.
Obviously our Trump supporting friends didn't read the link, rather just blindly went into to MAGA mode. LOL
Remember you'll have a new conservative majority SCOTUS by the time the mail fraud cases reach the Supreme Court.
The GOP is taking the PA ruling, which extends the deadline for votes to be counted, to the SCOTUS. https://www.pennlive.com/news/2020/...-state-supreme-court-ruling-on-elections.html
Conservatives respect the voting process and are planning to vote in person on election day! Absentee ballots are for those who are significantly health challenged or serving in our military or have a solid, sound reason that they cannot vote at the polls on election day. A very small percentage of the population! As for the rest who are going out in public regularly and still want an absentee ballot, well you know exactly who you are! And I will leave it at that! Don't want to anger the mods!
So what? I ordered absentee ballots for my family, mostly because I generally don’t like physically going to polls.
That is how I understand it. IF, and I say "IF" voter fraud is going to happen this is only an indicator that it is, not that it isn't. If it was going to happen they would have to request a lot of absentee ballots.
LOL, and the excuses from Trump supporters start rolling in when faced with the reality that the majority of the people simply can not stand that lying ass hat occupying the White House currently.
