I mean, the fact that Republicans refused to pass a bi-partisan bill that would have immensely helped in securing the border is not a talking point Democrats might be willing to pass on. Once Biden has secured enough swing-states by pointing out that Trump is an indicted felon out on bail who tortured children, presided over the worst Covid response in the world, sexually abused women, stole government documents (most likely to sell them to the Russians), incited an insurrection... he might want to go after some red states. And that would be one of the points that might interest them to learn.

The number isn't as big a deal as who is coming here. We should welcome a mix of people from around the world, not waving in a monoculture of most Spanish speaking people who can run the border because they live nearby. As well, we have no idea who is hightailing by border guards.
