what a surprise, not. Apparently the unhinged Dems think they can get 20 GOP Senators and 90 GOP Representatives to help them pass a bill that would enable them to enact impeachment hearings against trump over his business holding. Seems like another futile effort to me nut as long as it keeps the libs happy and feeling warm and fuzzy let them go for it I say. Now just my opinion but it seems as if they would be better off attempting to work with Trump and the GOP to improve the economy in the USA but that seems not to be their intentions. Instead I expect a 8 year temper tantrum. Has anyone in the party thought of the blowback the party will receive when the economy improves from his ideas and bills.

A new bill put forward by a group Senate Democrats Thursday would make it an impeachable offense for Donald Trump to not place his business holdings in a blind trust while serving as president.

In a press release, the Senators– Massachusetts’s Elizabeth Warren, Maryland’s Ben Cardin, Delaware’s Chris Coons, Illinois’s Dick Durbin, and Oregon’s Jeff Merkley— announced that they plan to “introduce a bill in January that would require the President and Vice President to disclose and divest any potential financial conflicts of interest.”

The senators believe that Trump could potentially fall afoul of the Constitution’s Enoluments Clause, which bans the president from “accept[ing] any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, price, or foreign state.” According to a fact sheet put out by the Senators, “Experts have concluded that ‘corporations owned or controlled by a foreign government are presumptively foreign states under the Emoluments Clause

Why didn't they try to impeach President Obama when he won the peace price? I'm still laugh at that one.

Isn't it interesting the dems got upset when Rush says I hope he fails and the republicans hoped to make him a one term President. But now they are actively working to undermine President Trump before he even takes office. One could even make the argument they are committing treasonous acts by trying to intimidate the electoral college.

As for Trump's business holdings he should step away from any and all business activities. Any of his children that run his businesses should not be in cabinet meetings and the like. I'm sure he values their opinions but it is going to cause him and the American people a lot less headache to keep the two separate.

    /agree

btw - According to financial disclosure reports, President Obama has an estimated net worth of $7 million dollars.

Since he was worth $1.3 million in 2007, that makes the millionaire 438% more wealthy than when he first ran for office.

Meanwhile Trump is filling his cabinet positions, having a great thank you tour, saving American jobs, and having business and world leaders flock to him in hoards with promises and ideas. In short Trump is a steam roller crushing these sniveling little sore loser Democrats as they flail and scream and he doesn't miss a beat.

    1) claiming he's a racist
    2) violent street protests
    3) failed recounts
    4) ridiculous claims of "fake news"
    5) claiming he's a "Russian puppet"
    6) death threats to electors voting for Trump
    7) talk of impeachment

The libs aren't taking this election very well.

Doing anything to improve the economy would improve people's lives, and in turn have less people to promise other people's money to in exchange for their votes against the mean, evil, GOP who only cares about "the rich white man"

Meanwhile, Hillary is thanking her richest (and whitest) donors in a fancy Manhattan ball room.

Double standards... the only standards the left have remaining.

Apparently these "D"'s are spending to much time with John Podesta, David Brooks, consulting with Michael Moore & watching The View, because no way in hell this 'bill' is going anywhere in Congress. However, I'm sure between now & Jan, CNN, the Wash Post & NYT will treat this bill favorably because it'll give their loyal left readers something to rally around.

That said, I do think it's important for Trump to ethically & legally separate himself from his empire, otherwise the left will be accusing him of having a "conflict of interest" every time he's proposing or negotiating anything. And, in Trump's case this won't be that easy. First, his business is real-estate, it's multi-layered & international. Second, his family is deeply involved in managing many parts of his business, so, no matter what legal means he might use to separate himself, he's never going to be separated for them. And thirdly, no matter what he does, Soros & his network of progressive serpents will be dredging up any morsel they can to imply (accuse) Trump of "impropriety" & "conflict of interest" at every turn. It'll be endless.
So, as far as Trump separating himself form his business, he really needs to get this right and be prepared for the left's assault even after he does. Just say'in.

The Demos are into denial and have doubled down on delegitimizing Trump and his Presidency. They have gone bi polar and need some abilify to help them deal with reality.

Lets give them some thorazine to and let them see all things in black and white while doing the thorazine shuffle.

Why all this fake, phony baloney outrage about democratic forces wanting to impeach LICE Trump? Did we not have 8 years of :

"1- Obama was not born in the US he is an illegitimate POTUS
2- Obama needs to be deported back to Kenya
3- Obama personnel escorts illegal over the Rio Grand
4- Obama is a Muslim and he built a secret Mosque facing East in the 3rd sub-basement of the White House
    5- Obama is a secret homosexual "

So now you are worried that the dems in their patriotic zeal want to "impeach" Putin's Lap Dog ?
You are not worried that LICE Trump is rumored to be a FSB Manchurian candidate ?

You are not worried that Malania 's real name is rumored to be Ekaktarina Malinkova trained in her teen years by the KGB in Communist Yugoslavia where her father was a Communist official on the KGB payroll?

You are not worried about all those rumors about LICE Trump.

Meanwhile farmers across America are forming a Jimmy Cotter-pin like Tractorcade to protest having to put their farms in a blind trust because the Democrats in Congress hate them being elected and having an August recess.

Right an until Roosevelt ran for a third term there was only a strong tradition set by President Washington that Presidents was limited to two terms in office but once Roosevelt broke that tradition the constitution was shortly amended to have a two terms limit.

Now that Trump had broken the tradition of releasing tax returns we need another amendment it would seems.

Once thing we know for sure Russian hackers are not going to release those returns unless Trump does not obey his Russian masters<grin>.
