Trump had 3 years before the pandemic to do something to fix the economic inequality. He did a lot for himself his family and the ruling class to which he belongs. He did nothing for the mass majority of the people.

Yes, I listen to Prof Wolff a lot, and no, D.T. didn't help financial equality

    BUT
He didn't start the war in Ukraine which has cost the country a fortune - Joe Biden did as V.P.
and made it a lot bigger as President.
He didn't go around insulting all the countries of the Middle East as Antony Blinken has

I'm poor but I was a lot happier with D.T. when we had a future than now when it looks
    like maybe we don't.

During the 4 years of trump women and minorities saw much lower unemployment and the biggest wage increases since the government has kept records.

    Try again.

I believe it was historic levels of the lowest unemployment for women and minorities. And then there was that funding for historically black colleges that was so terrible for everyone except Trump.

They might not remember but me and you and pepperidge farms does !

They're forgetting that people don't get political amnesia that soon so they need to wait a little longer to do their historical revisionism.

He threatened Russia that he would site nuclear armed missiles wherever in Ukraine he
wanted to, and supplied artillery shells and howitzers for killing Russian-speaking
people in Donetsk from Oct 2014.

There's a documentary film about it called 'Ukraine on Fire' by an American Oliver Stone.

Actually, black Americans had the lowest unemployment in March 2023. Women's unemployment is near record lows as well.
So just what is so terrible about Biden if his numbers are every bit as good as Trump's in the metrics you mentioned.

He gave the lower and middle class their biggest tax cut. Those who claim otherwise have never bothered to even read Trump's tax rate schedule.

And when do his tax cuts for individuals expire; why they expire in 2025.

And when do his tax cuts for corporations expire?

    laughingGuY.jpg

    they don't expire.

    Well, but they aren't.
Trump also reversed the low labor force participation rate and got those who had given up to have faith and try again.
Covid crashed that and it still hasn't recovered.
Low labor force participation means low unemployment is a false positive.

Where do corporations get their money with which they pay those taxes? And who stood in the way of making those individual tax breaks permanent, why the asses you keep voting for.

Well there is some truth to that - but not much - the labor participation rate is only about 1% lower than it was at the high point of Trump's 3rd year, and
has been climbing fairly steadily since 2020. And to be truthful, it was falling since Bush II was in office. fredgraph.png
And I don't think it reflects the
number of people who are now making money in online ventures who don't need to work at full-time traditional jobs.

Only if congress and the president let them expire which they shouldn't. If Biden is president you can bet your bippee they will expire and then some.
They absolutely shouldn't. Current corporate rates are now more in line with other western countries. Low corporate tax rates help employees, pension funds, job creating investments, and stockholders the most.

I note where you got your information, but you might try reading the tax rate schedules as posted by the IRS and avoid the spin.

Economics and politics play together on a waterbed--push in somewhere and it raises it somewhere else. That doesn't matter who is president. What it all boils down to is who is the POTUS going to reward in the US economy and at whose expense. Trump probably helped manufacturing some at the expense of farmers with his policies, but it isn't like those farmers are going to vote for the party that wants the EPA to regulate puddles of cow pee so it was a net gain for the GOP politically in the rust belt areas and south.

Which doesn't negate the fact that they chose to do it of their own free will.

More like 3%, but you do understand what even a 1% movement in LMPR represents? A couple MILLION working age Americans not working, not looking. Not productive. Almost certainly being supported by welfare or maybe sucking off of their (future) retirement savings.
