americans are crazy for golf that well cool btw, though not so good at it apparently going by the ryder cup eh, ha had to get that in, anyway its great though eh I work on a course all summer we get like 60% americans or more you folk are golf nuts, though when the japanese are into it theyre really into it
not anymore he's not, would like to see him back to his best but dont know it might never happen scratch thats pretty good though, I'm off 3 officially but hardly ever get to play anymore, maybe 5 times this year, so more like 13 usually then I have a few good holes late in the round. whats your course like do you play often ?
so have you ever played links golf ? its a lot of fun but a bit more difficult and unpredictable. you should come over if you havent, though its really expensive for americans coming over here to play, obscenely expensive if you dont watch what youre doing.
I've been playing for years, but I'm strictly a hacker. But I love the game. The only thing consistent about my game is my inconsistencies. When I do have some consistency in my game(not very often), I'm not half bad. I don't get to play often enough, but I have 5 acres & am able to hit some balls in the back yard when I feel like it. I also love watching the tours on TV, mens & womens. One of these years, Michele Wie & Dustin Johnson will put it together & dominate! I could hope at least.
Big off the tee, lousy around the green. An average round for 9 holes is around 50. Try to play at least 10 times or so a year, or hit a couple buckets at the range. I like the game itself, it's the well hit shots that keep you coming back after enduring 4 putt greens.
I almost literally bumped into dustin johnson a couple of weeks ago, he hits it miles and has a decent temperament got a chance. met michelle wie as well she is massive, she must be 6-2, seems quite nice but still just a kid really. she was in a shop and I was the only one who recognised her, amazing considering the shop over the road had a life-size cut-out of her in the window.
The kids are getting sick these days, McElroy was hitting a five iron 280 yards this year. Jack Nicolas, Arnold Palmer and Tiger were on the eighteenth green and got struck by lightening. When they got to heaven, God was sitting on his thrown and asked them what they believed in. Arnie said, " I believe in being faithful to my fans." Jack said, "I believe in the integrity of the game." Tiger said, "I believe you're in my seat."
yeah mcilroy is unbelievable he's the white tiger, speaking of tiger its really all his dads fault, he told him to concentrate on the majors and fluck everything else, so thats what he did we have a joke like that in soccer, its probably in every sport, anyway cristiano ronaldo told reporters god sent him to teach the world how to play football, when told about this leo messi replied I dont remember sending him. its the same joke really. messi is amazing best player in the world and just a midget.
I'm prety bad at links style I'm not very good at knockdown shots, I'm a high ball hitter. I don't get to play much either, its way expensive, but I played Spyglass a while ago with my friend and shot 78 from the tips. Haven't updated my handicap in a while. I hit my 5 about 230. LOL since when can tiger hit a 1 iron?
MW is a big girl. Cute story: I went to the LPGA Womens Open at the Broadmore(a practice round & Sunday) & I was hanging around this "triangle" area, 2 tee boxes a green, and suddenly MW comes ripping up the path with this scowl on her face. Before it registered in my head that it was her, she was just about past me & then I see/hear her parent behind her, barking at her. At that moment I felt bad for her, but it was also quite comical, her parents yapping at her heels! Had a brief conversation with Stacey Lewis, I thought she was really cool. Christina Kim was really nice, while giving my daughter an autograph she was friendly. Cristy Kerr & Morgan Pressel were rather distant, not all that friendly. Natalie Gulbis is just as hot in person(if not more so) as she is on TV. Paula Creamer isn't so bad either. I absolutely love the Womens Tour.
yeah you would struggle a bit, I caddie on a links course over the summer we get loads of americans, if its windy high ball hitters find it tough, even downwind its not as easy as youd think it is cause it becomes really hard to stop the ball and if they hit it high its even harder. Id love to play spyglass its one of my ambitions to go on holiday to california and play there and pebble and spanish bay etc, but Ive heard pebble is now 500 dollars which is well expensive. apparently is 10 dollars just to drive through and look at.
yeah we had the womens british open last year I saw all these people but didnt get to caddy in it was devastated, did the pro-am before was in the group behind creamer she is pretty hot, though I actually heard morgan pressel was really nice
I played golf several years back. Pretty much a duffer. I watchgolf and Nascar for the same reason, insomnia.
Try frisbee golf, it's free, except for the price of the discs. Google disc golf for the course in your area.
I almost usually utilized Dustin darker a couple of several weeks ago, he strikes it variety and has a cost-effective disposition got a opportunity. I've been suffering from for years, but I'm completely a duller. But I love the experience. The only thing ongoing about my activity is my distinction.
Mediocre golfer here, but have had 3 holes in one. Average for a 72 course golf course around 95,,,at 62 years of age and a woman.
