I think they should. If a business repeatedly doesn't have ethics, then the market will eventually move away from its products if there is healthy competition.

We are by far the richest modern country or any country. If you count all taxes everybody is paying about 27 percent, a gigantic giveaway to the greedy idiot rich and a screw job for everyone else. Only your garbage propaganda distracts you from the facts.

 

I wish I was only paying 27%, lol. Last time I did the math, I'm paying around 48%.

 

So what is the fair share of the tax burden of the "rich". The top 1% pay 40% of income taxes, the top 20% pays almost 90%, the bottom half pays virtually nothing and in fact make money off the tax system. So if that is not fair enough what would be. Biden was hyping is Bill Against America today and he kept repeating the rich aren't paying their fair share of the tax burden. If you agree then tell me exactly what should that distribution be in order to be fair. Be specific so we can discuss the difference. How is that a giveaway to the top earners?

 

You don't HAVE to have cable/internet and they are not the only means to acquire it. How are you being exploited?

So they refuse goods or services to those they deem unsuitable? Because that IS what we're talking about here - banks not being 'ethical' enough to deny services to those they deem not fit for purchase.

Absolutely I think businesses should have ethics. They should be honest, and legal, and honourable. And they should NEVER assess your worth as a potential customer, and declare you not worthy.

 

Nope, what were'e talking about is banks giving loans to people that they know will immediately have problems with it. And by the way banks are in fact supposed to assess your worth as to be loaned money.

 

And that's exactly what banks do. If they didn't do that, they wouldn't remain in business very long.

There's a limit to how much fine detail a bank can extract from a delusional customer. They're obliged to accept the customer's testimonial in good faith, because pursuing fine detail would be a gross invasion of privacy and of bank purview. It would, in fact, be UNETHICAL.

 

Once again you DISQUALIFY yourself.

Worker OWNED businesses are ETHICAL when it comes to ensuring that their WORKERS are NOT exploited. That carries through to their customers because each worker understands what it means to treat customers ETHICALLY so that they will REMAIN as customers.

 

Then you agree that the banks share just as much blame as the customers for the loan problems.
