For the record my mom's family is from southern Ireland..... and my mom knew the history of how poorly most Irish were treated by my English ancestors.... or even by my dad's people from Scotland and northern England.

I grew up listening to the Irish songs of Rebellion made famous by the Clancy Brothers and Tommy Make!
