I am searching for a few documentary films that I have seen on TV over the years. I know the titles but I cannot find them on YouTube nor listed in Google search. Is there an internet source that lists ALL of the documentary films that were ever made?
Did you try IMDB (Internet Movie Database)? I would also suggest searching for names of people you can recall and find a list of their works. It was awhile ago, but I've had luck in calling my local library and obtained assistance for non-mainstream non-fiction genres. Good luck.
Thank you. I've just tried a few on IMdb but it looks like there are no documentary films listed there. I'll try a few more to be sure.
Hmm. I've had some luck with contacting television stations to inquire about things they've aired. That would only work if you recall a time frame and full title though. Maybe the Library of Congress would help you narrow down where titles might be available to the public?
Believe it or not, you might also try just googling a brief description of the documentary. I've done that with descriptions of specific television series episodes and had some good luck.
