i find it odd since i was away that people don't seem as edgy and seem to be holding back on the big stuff concerning your government and consequences to you..
"What's he gonna do? I'm all the way in Australia." I think this episode ends with me getting a booting.
Perhaps I an naïve, or I may just not be a fearful person....but, nothing I have to say concerns me in the first place. Go ahead and read what I write (are you listening!)....it does not bother me in the least.
I truly appreciate and understand my privacy. But, I also understand the concept of personal information. There is nothing I do not want people to see that I allow in the public realm....we call this intelligence (no not that type).
There are probably a couple of oddballs who think they are so important that the NSA has to constantly watch and monitor them, but those people probably abandoned the internet and are living in a cabin in the woods, unabomber style.
Are they?? I can only say that I don't give an effenheimer about the NSA. - - - Updated - - - And as long as they aren't mailing out explosives or planting disguised bombs in parking lots, more power to 'em
Got nothing to hide, I just find the thought of being 'observed' appalling. But...if they want to bore themselves to death...do what you must, whoever you are.
What they must? There's no way they have a need to watch our personal lives. We have no need of such "security" as that.
I recall in the 70's after reading 1984 a older guy i looked up to and i discussed the book. He said eventually it would all come to pass and most people would welcome it for fear they would all be killed by some boogy man or maniacal country... well camerras are in all the computers, tele screens are on walls my car talks to me and is capable of listening camerras are everywhere history is changed via wiki and internet
It sounds like he was a smart fellow. I'm happy to say there are no cameras in my computers or their monitors, though. My hardware consists of desktops and older laptops. I don't even have a mic hooked up. My car has Onstar, I think.. Hm, got a neighbor with his own arsenal of cameras - no problems there for me, though. History changing.. We have texts old and new, so theoretically history is pretty well established. We can still read what Roman historians wrote about Rome, for instance. Then there's the beneficial change of added archaeological evidence and interpretations over time, such that we get newer, hopefully more accurate ideas about history as time goes on. You just don't want to have all of your historical eggs in one basket...
No, because I support my President and government 100% at this time. I had to hold back for President Bush, because he was a really bad man.
(*)(*)(*)(*) the NSA. There I said it for them to see. (*)(*)(*)(*) THE NSA!!! :me(*)(*)(*)(*)ingthensa: UCKFA THEA SANA! Just in case they need it in code to understand it. I am drawing a picture right now in Microsoft Paint of the NSA sucking it long and hard. Though I think in the future I will stick with photoshop because right now it looks like I drew a fat midget drinking out of a fire hose.
I live in Australia & not really affected by the NSA but I doubt enough people read these forums for the NSA to take much more notice than a keyword or phrase in a private phone call.
If I thought that I could trust them, with the party line about the objectives of their eavesdropping, I would welcome the activity. Trouble is that the internet has availed me of the some of the standards they are using to profile suspects. I'm White. Middle aged Christian Vet. Relatively intelligent. Employed. Gun owner. Known to visit and participate on Firearms related and political web sites. There are not many parts of me that don't have one of their "red flags" stuck into it. What amuses me with all of this is that there are a few tens of millions of guys like me who qualify for their watch lists. Are they gonna' purge us all, er wut?
It wasn't that long ago that the Obama administration published an enemies list of suspected terrorists, such as returning vets from Iraq/Afghanistan, Tea Party Members, Gun Owners, NRA members, etc. What could possibly happen with the NSA watching?! ;] I say bring it on, because I don't live in a state of fear, but what they're doing is most certainly a breach of trust and an infringement of our privacy rights. How are we supposed to trust a government that doesn't trust us? Their boldness and lack of respect for the US citizens makes them dangerous. It certainly needs to end, but it's probably just going to get worse - more surveillance drones, anyone? And to think it started with traffic cameras.
bomb attack explosion detonate timer infidel jewish president white house fire gun grenade theyre definitely reading it now
Because there's a lot of anti-Jewish folks on this forum. They think there's some massive Jewish conspiracy to wipe out white people, or something like that.
nope and they can literally kiss my ass. they have nothing that can give them the right to do anything to me. Read all they want too, the only reason they can get mad is because they might not like the truth very much.
